“There are only two lasting bequests we can hope to give our children. One of these is roots; the other, wings.”
My Madison is off again, spreading her wings and flying back to Denmark!
My heart is sad. And happy.
Sad because I shall miss her so.
Happy because I am so proud of her.
If you think of it today, would you mind sending up a prayer for her and Nicolas' safe return to his home and family?
Thank you, my friends.
Have a cozy day.
I will say a prayer for them right now! And an extra Hail Mary for you, because who could know a mama heart more?ReplyDelete
Sending up prayers for them both my friend. And, a prayer for you as well. Beautiful quote and so very true, but it is really hard to see them go.ReplyDelete
I'm sorry that time has come to say goodbye again. It must be so hard on your heart. Sending lots of prayers for you!! Catch a hug, my friend.ReplyDelete
Praying for their safety now :).ReplyDelete
Praying right now! <3ReplyDelete
Always hard to let them go, but you know they love you enough to keep coming back. They will certainly be in my prayers. Stay strong.ReplyDelete
I will keep your precious ones in my prayers, Billie Jo. Yes, it's bittersweet for you, but I know you are so happy to have Madison spread her wings. Such tender photos, my friend. ♥ReplyDelete
Keeping them and you in prayer, friend.ReplyDelete
She is so grown up! So happy for her!ReplyDelete
Prayers, my friend, for you all :)ReplyDelete
Prayers for your daughter and her boyfriend. Looks like she has really found her path in life. I know that you miss her. It is hard when they grow up and leave. Glad she will be back again in the spring. Have a good week.ReplyDelete
Praying and loving them and you...ReplyDelete
Oh...I can only imagine!!! Prayers.ReplyDelete
Love all these photos...so very sweet and as always keeping her in prayer for a safe return!ReplyDelete
I already said my prayers before I even read this. Thinking of you all today 💕xxReplyDelete
They will be in my prayers.
One of my favorite quotes for sure! It's so true, we have so much to give our children, yet so little. Roots to always know they have a place to call home and to be grounded in love. Wings to fly, explore, and bring them back home safely.
Madison is such a beautiful, girl - like mother like daughter... :0) I loved seeing the photos! The time will go by so quickly, and she will be home in the blink of an eye.
Such a bittersweet time. I'll keep her in my prayers.ReplyDelete
Just said prayers for you and them......Hang in there dear, Easter will be here soonReplyDelete
P.S. Go Steelers!!!
Prayers sent that angels will watch over them and surround their travels everytime they make that big trip!! Blessings (& hugs) on the rest of your week sweet little Mama. xoxoReplyDelete
I'm sure she is back by now, but I'll still say a prayer for them. I understand how you feel, missing the moments you once had in abundance with her but proud of the independent young person she has grown into. God bless & hugs. JuliReplyDelete
