Random Photo Friday

Good morning, my friends. Happy Friday! I am sharing some photos of the past week here in our cozy Pennsylvania lake home. Like so many others, we are seeing a true winter here. Cold, snow, ice, and more snow. Here we are prepared as it is the norm this time of year—prayers for those experiencing the effects of a dangerous winter storm where it is not.

The puppies enjoyed watching mass on Saturday afternoon. I will have to tell Fr. Ross his homily kept them captivated! Rhett and his girlfriend celebrated Valentine's together this week and had a wonderful time. Peyton and Christopher were here celebrating Mardi Gras. And if they look happy, it may be because their wedding is fast approaching!

Have a nice weekend, my friends. Not much planned here. I plan to write out a meal plan and a grocery list, pay some bills, and copy some recipes onto cards. All while snuggled under a comfy throw with my pups. See you here again Monday! Oh, and one more. Just for fun!

  1. I for one, am happy to see an old fashioned deep winter _here_, this year. I remember more snow, in the past, than has been usual. And it is refreshing to see it return.

In no way, am I referring to the excess cold/snow, which warmer climates are enduring!!!! This is not usual for them, and they are not used to it.

Just saying, about my experience, in the upper NE.

    Gentle hugs...

  3. It is such a deep freeze that the line between your yard and the lake is gone! Try to keep warm and snuggle a pup!

  7. Ok, so I have been having a meltdown here...after 7 years of living here, I am just over the snow and cold...I am needing warmth and sand (and sun). It's not just one thing that the meltdown is over---its a combo of things...anyways, just keeping it real.

On too more happy things...Does Peyton have her dress picked out? I am so very happy for her and for you too. smiles
