August Around Here
















Our week was full of summer fun and autumn previews. My Jeep got a good cleaning, both inside and out. We took a trip up to our besties Heather and Dave's house for an awesome evening around a cozy fire. We sat around that fire, ate hotdogs, mountain pies, and s' mores, and talked and laughed for hours.

I opened my prayer book one morning this week, and that picture of my little Peyton fell out. I remember everything about that picture day some fifteen years ago! Wasn't she a cutie?!

And. It begins. With apologies to all you summer lovers, I am ready for all things fall. Look what I found at Walmart! Pumpkin Spice Creamer! And T.J. Maxx has the most delicious Pumpkin Spice Coffee! So, although we have a few more weeks of summer around here, I am happy to ease into autumn with my morning coffee. Won't you join me, my friends?

    I'm a little jealous, our Walmart hasn't brought in the pumpkin spice creamer yet. I keep looking though. I'm not ready for fall but I am ready for pumpkin season.

    Although I'm looking forward to the delights of Autumn, I'm still clinging on to Summer while I can. However, there is a definite change in the air. X

    Looks like you're having a great August. We had storms over night and I was almost lulled into opening my windows as it felt like fall outside. Getting the house ready for fall has definitely been on my mind.

    Love your Jeep! I have a Jeep Patriot now and passed my Liberty on to Maddie. Guess we are a jeep family! :) Getting set for cooler temps here too! Hope all is going well!
