P.S. My awesome blog friend Leslie has started posting again! She has an amazing blog where she shares so many things we all love: family, home, decorating and holidays to name a few. You can visit her
Enjoy home school. Youngest grand girl grand started end of July-a freshman. We work on Thirsday morning and she volunteers at the library in the afternoon. Eldest grand girl is in junior classes at Purdue having just spent part of this year studying in Greece and Italy. She plans one semester of this year abroad also. Youngest grand girl will begin freshman classes at Franklin College this week. Both college girls did so well on home school and tested so high that they are paying for their education through scholarships with loans and working. Eldest grandson is in second grade at a a school in Florida and youngest grandson in pre K there. Nana is sad not to be returning to school as a teacher but life goes on. I am happy to finally be living near family!
I thought of you this morning as I almost pulled a few fall scented candles out of the cabinet (cool, rainy day here) but decided to enjoy my ocean smells for a few more days. Hope you enjoy the last few fleeting days of your summer before fall arrives.
Lovely to find a new blogger, thanks for the recommendation. Love your letter to summer. Just this morning I was thinking that it's a bit cooler and damper out there now. CJ xx
Will check out your friend! Seems that I have taken a bit of a blogging break but still reading when I can! Cooler in Nebraska this morning and I love it! Have a great day!
Billie Jo, I think I was in your neck of the woods last week - I went to pick my son up from a road trip with his friend's family and I passed signs for Knoebels! Thought of you right away ;)
See you next year Summer! It's been great and I will miss you but it's Fall's turn now! I am decorating this weekend and I'm so excited! Miss you my friend! xo

ReplyDeleteI'm so excited for fall! I'm glad I'm not the only one; my opinion seems to be less than popular among my acquaintances. :)
