Christmas 2017

Christmas is now a memory, tucked safely inside our hearts. I tell the kids that they can keep the memories safe and sound inside their hearts, and pull them out whenever they want. Or, they can take a peek here. : )

Christmas Eve

( A gift left on our doorstep from a very sweet friend...Look closely. They are cupcakes! )

( My girl was happy and enjoying Christmas across the ocean. So all was well with my soul. )

Christmas Day

The remainder of the day was filled with gifts, wrapping paper, Christmas music, cookies, naps, laughter, games, snow, giggles, and love.

I hope your Christmas was all you dreamed it would be, my friends.
Thanks for sharing ours.

  6. I started reading your blog a few weeks before Christmas (I think Coffee with Row shared a link?) and I just love it! Your Christmas looks like it was so beautiful and what a great surprise gift of cupcakes. Curious, did those candles you burned each day during your 12 days come in a set? Such a fun idea, I'd like to borrow it for next year. Hope you had a happy New Year and have a wonderful 2018.

I totally understand missing a child at Christmas, My oldest spent Christmas in Switzerland last year and although she was happy, it was very weird around here.

  23. What a beautiful Christmas. I just think it is such a blessing that we can capture our family's memories and they can have them to look back on. Each New year, I go to the cutest blog on the block website, and have my years blog made into a family year book. I figure this way, we will always be able to have it. Oh what I would not give to be able to have had my Mom keep a blog of my childhood memories. Happy New Year my friend. Hugs to you. Juli
