  2. Hi Billie Jo! This was such a lovely post! I love that picture of your parents, and also the one of you. You look great! It's always good when we can recognize all of the wonderful things we have in our lives. I'm with you - when I am home, I am in my happy place! Have a good weekend.

  3. I love this! Everything you are surrounded with is cozy and happy. And you look so cute!
I've always thought you looked a lot like your mom, but now that I see both parents, I can see some of each of them in you.
I remember that old poem and enjoyed seeing it again.
Yes, Home is my happy place too!

  4. Such a good picture of you...I love it! And the picture of your parents is absolutely precious. What a treasure. I understand the missing part...my mom's birthday is coming up in April. I shall take flowers to the cemetery, but I'd rather be giving them to her in person.

  5. Those pups all look guilty, like they did something that their folks haven't discovered yet.

  8. What a clever meme this is! I may do a blog post similar to this some time (keep in mind that imitation is a sincere compliment).

I know you miss your folks. I am still marveling at the wisdom you shared with us with your mother's words at her funeral. I copied her words about mistakes in my personal hand-written journal and have thanked the Lord for sharing such wisdom with me. Your sharing of that has blessed me repeatedly in recent weeks and I thank you for that.

  9. Love your plate - I love nibbles like that as a meal. Matt teases me and calls it "girl dinner" 😁 And could you be any more adorable?? You look so chic in that picture. I'm too wimpy to take the plunge and really cut my hair - but one of these days when I do I would love it to be like yours. Your home is so cozy and the pups so cute. Blessings on your weekend! 💗

  15. Good morning Billie Jo. BTW...I love your name! My mom's middle name was Jo and now, Mylee's middle name is Jo. My mother-in-laws name was Billie. This is a fun post and I love how much you love you home. I am the same way...I love our home and space. Great picture of you and of all the things you cherish.

  18. Hello Billy Jo, a lovely photo of the trees looking through to that pretty blue sky but first, a sweet photo of your Mom and Dad. I know how you feel, I am the same with mine and they have passed these 20 plus years and then some. I love your outfit and you are pretty and elegant. Love your cute pups too and the framed pictures on the wall. I am so nosy! A yummy looking lunch and then have to say you have such a great eye for taking photos. The candle with the bunnies in the background is charming. I definitely can relate to loving being home and in my own space and lastly, a sweet little girl with that age old poem, one I remember well. Thank you for a lovely post and happy weekend.

  21. Would enjoy hearing more about what you and your daughter are studying. I forget her grade. Ninth maybe...hope she enjoys Shakespeare...does she have an inclination to her future or is it way too early for her? My three grand girls home schooled...the best thing mom did...prayers as you teach your daughter...also...are you writing? I loved your book. What are you reading? I don't get into the television shows...the reality...but the books...yes...thanks for caring about so many.
