Top 'O The Morning To Ya!

Hello! And Happy St. Patrick's Day!

I hope you have a fun, festive day today! It is quiet around here as we wrap up our week of the systemic surrender to the virus that was kind enough to stagger its onset so that we each had a turn to be miserable. I can't complain, though, because, in the overall scheme, this was more of an inconvenience and resulted in a thorough cleaning of my bedroom and bathroom with open windows and a lingering scent of Lysol throughout.

Fortunately, we are well enough to celebrate this festive day with a cozy Shepherd's Pie and a chocolate Guinness cake dinner. Madison has planned the meal, and I will assist with the chopping and grating. Other plans today include more of this...

Because recovering from a cold is a process, right? I mean, rest is essential, so they say. We are not watching The Bachelor tonight because we plan on this after dinner...

This came out last year, but we haven't seen it yet. I am a Lindsay Lohan fan and am happy to see her back. And that is the plan for today. We will have to wait until tomorrow to see which woman Grant the Bachelor sends home before the "Most Dramatic Finale Ever" next week. I hope I can take it!

What are your plans today, my friends?
Whatever they are, may the Luck and the Blessings of the Irish be with you!

Billie Jo

  10. I hope you all feel better very soon! Did you see the preview for the New Freakier Friday? I can't wait. I love the original! I can't believe anything would top Jason breaking up with Melissa and immediately asking Molly to get back together but who knows?! I guess that wasn't a finale, it was an After the Final Rose which does to the letter of the law leave a lot open for it to be crazy!

  11. My plans consisted of passing out at my doctor's office and going to the E.R. by ambulance. This is why I am so late commenting. I am home and well now! I love your St. Pat's day things! I never heard of the movie, but it looks good, and perfect for today!

  15. Hope everyone is feeling much better now! Yes, rest when sick always. Spring break week here so that's nice. We had our traditional mint shakes at lunch yesterday and then, I made soda bread with a stew type dinner. Have a great week!
