Thoughts On The Bachelor Finale Last Night

1. Young people can make falling in love very complicated.
2. Each person should follow his or her own heart.
3. Mascara usage has changed a great deal since I was young.
4. Some moms are way too involved in their children's personal lives.
5. I was blessed with a wonderful, loving mother-in-law.
6. Reality television may not be the best place to look for your soulmate.
7. Chris Harrison is the best.

Anything you want to add?

Happy Wednesday!

  1. Is spider leg mascara a trend now?

On another note: I got hooked on Yankee candles because of you and now you're not using them are you? I started your blog from the beginning just this year so I've seen a lot of Yankee candles in your home. As I caught up to the last couple years I noticed fewer. I think those candles warmed up you blog.

    1. Hi Peggy! Thank you so much for reading! And you are right. I have not been sharing my Yankee Candles as much as I used to! Thanks for reminding me. I am actually going to pull out my favorite Easter ones today. Stay tuned! : )

  2. I never watched this season but kept up to date via blogs and stories online. But as fate would have it I went out with my girlfriends last night and it was on in the bar. So I caught a glimpse. That's a lot of drama for a finale!

  3. This season was a train wreck! If only Peter had ignored his overly dramatic mother and followed his heart in the first place, he wouldn't have had to hurt Hannah Ann and maybe his mom would have had some time to see how in love they are. And I am still waiting on Hannah Brown to end up with Tyler Cameron! He was my fave and would have made a fantastic bachelor! :)

  4. I have never seen the show...I do know I have that mother's (?) haircut. I do believe some folks are in their kids lives way to much--not me, of course, giggling/grin...our son wants us in his life, so that is the difference. I try to back away and not run my mouth so much, its hard though. Just keeping it real, smiles. We are lucky his friends and certain "gal pals" like us etc.

  5. I don't watch The Bachelor, Billie Jo, so I don't really have any input on this, but I've always thought it was so strange when they publicize their relationships on tv. ; )
