Normalcy Amid The Unknown

I have a new edition to our entry these days.
Yep. A stylish bucket with Clorox wipes and Lysol spray inside.
Because. Life now.

We are eating healthy foods as much as possible.
(Well, in between the cozy baked goods.)
And lots of comfort food like homemade chicken soup.

I am determined to keep some semblance of normalcy as each day brings new information and changes. Calm, peace, faith, trust, health, love and family. This is what I wish for you, my friends.

And some cozy snuggles too.

  1. A cozy snuggle is the cherry on top of it all!

  2. I agree with Linda (Ramblings of a Retired Lady)...cozy is the way to be, my friend. (and p.s. I can not believe how much Flynn has grown, smiles.)

  3. Oh my gosh! Flynn is so grown up! And, yes, we are trying to make our days as normal as possible. We too are trying to eat healthy and stay healthy. Stay cozy!

  4. Yes - we are all learning to live in the 'new normal' aren't we? But it's so important to do our best to create some consistency. I love your bucket . . . cute way to display the 'new essentials'!

  6. New normal suites the current times. Love the cozy snuggles. I must say our cat is so happy to have all these extra "employees" to boss around the house ;) Praying for continued health and happiness for your family!

  9. Hello sweet friend! Here I am...probably the only (or one of the fewest) people on Earth...thankful for a pandemic. For all the right reasons, of course...if only because it is requiring ALL of the things to stop...to pause...to allow my little family a moment to breathe, to mourn, and to heal. It would be so easy to allow the after-school extracurriculars distract us from the business of grieving. No that I want the children or myself to get stuck in grief, but it is so very important to feel all the feels, acknowledge them, and make peace with them. Thank you so much for dropping by... BTW...my email for my blog is:

    herlittleways@gmail.com

I tried sending you an email as well, but I'm not sure I have your correct email address, either!

    Hugs,

    Valerie

  10. Love Jean's comment....her cat is happy to have all the employees to boss. My 2 labs are the sweetest and so funny. They crack us up even after they play tug of war with a throw carpet and it's ripped to shreds. Can't be mad when they wag their tails and look at us with those loving eyes. Have a blessed day. 12. Doesn't Flynn look all cozy under the blankets enjoying a special treat? Homemade chicken soup sounds wonderful, and it is comfort food, indeed. Your wreath is so pretty, I really like that. Yes, keeping the faith and lots of prayers.

Stay well, my friend. : )

  14. If wipes and Lysol are required then it's only right they should be kept in a stylish bucket.
    Stay well. X

  15. Well, you're practically bragging with those clorox wipes there. :) KIDDING!
I'm sure you are loving on your family extra these days and making everyone feel comforted. Bee well.

  16. My husband is not a social guy so this new social distance and stay away advisement is right up his ally haha He's so down with this new norm. Flynn is getting so big and older looking. Your baby is growing up and that Mocha darling is so adorable, I'll take those snuggles any day.
