It starts with a click. You come across a new blog to read, and start following along. You find that you have many things in common and begin corresponding through the mail with notes and Christmas cards. After a while, you exchange phone numbers and text pictures of daily life. Finally, you decide to meet, and when you do, you and your families immediately become lifelong friends.
That is how it happened with me and Danielle, who has a beautiful blog right HERE. We first met when we were both in DisneyWorld last fall. And she and her family were awesome enough to drive hours and hours to spend a few days here with us this past weekend!
We had the best time doing the things we love: drinking coffee, watching game shows, cooking dinner, playing games, and hanging out with our families. We went to Mass, went on a Jeep ride, and to our favorite local amusement park.(More on that later!) We had a wonderful time together, and cannot wait until the next time.
Thank you, Danielle!
We miss you guys!
Have a lovely day, my friends.
Stay cool!

ReplyDeleteBillie , I know what you mean. I love meeting blog friends in person and you do feel like family. I have had the pleasure of meeting Diana from Nana Diana Takes A Break. So kind and funny. She puts one at ease right away. I Have met Kris from Junk Chic Cottage here in my own home town. She came down from Chicago to an event . Such a beauty(so is Diana) . I feel like many bloggers are our family. Glad you got to meet Danelle. Sounds like a the best of times. Blessings to all, xoxo, Susie
