Pumpkin Patch 2017

The weather finally turned cool and once it did, we headed out to our favorite local farm and pumpkin patch. We were so happy my mom joined us this year too!

My girl...skipping around the pumpkin patch...
How many more times will I get to watch this??

Annual Pumpkin Patch picture...

And selfie with my pup on the way home. : )

We finished the night with take out pizza.
And decided to wait until tomorrow to decorate outside. : )

And that is what we did.
Enjoy this glorious month, my friends.
However October looks in your world.

    1. Hi Sharon!
      You are so kind!
I am wearing a wine color that Madison brought from Denmark. It is in a little pot and I apply it with a brush. Then I put a bit of a dusty rose on top to tone it down! Lol!

  7. We have yet to visit our local "Pumpkin Patch"!!!! I remember taking my oldest grand daughter there. And even riding around in the Little Train, with her. lol Oh mercy! What we do for "Grands."

You decorations are lovely. Wish we could decorate outside here.

First year we were here, after building this house, we and the kids put pumpkins out, of course!!!! We live across from a college campus, and students walk down street and back, past our house.

In the morning, we found the pumpkins smashed, out in the road, in front of our house!!!!!!!

Needless to say, we never decorated again. :-(

One Christmas, we had lighted wreaths on the outside of the front windows. One of them was stolen.

They throw their trash, like fast food wrappers and cans, on our front lawn too.

Oh it is *DELIGHTFUL*, living across from a college campus. NOT!

The only good thing is, we have woods across from us, which is lovely in itself.

    But no decorating!

    Enjoy yours!

  8. We stopped by our pumpkin market and they wanted $8.90 for a pumpkin, I said forget it and bought 7 different melons for a dollar each. Pumpkins take over the garden so bad that we try not to grow them ourselves. We always have a volunteer until this year. I will grow pumpkins next year after seeing the prices they want for them. I love your pictures.not

  15. Hi Billie Jo!

What a fun trip to the pumpkin patch, and I loved that, Flynn and your mom were dressed for autumn! Your photos are always so fun. We have a cute pumpkin patch right down the road from us and they always do such fun things for the kids that go to pick out their pumpkin. I should take my little grands there one day!

I'm so ready for fall, but I don't know if I'm ready for the snow and cold. It rained most of the day here, and it was cold! The one good thing . . . the trees are finally starting to change, that part, I love!

    Hugs and Love,
    Barb

  18. So fun -- heading to our pumpkin patch next week! It got warm again! Sadly, squirrels destroy/feast upon any pumpkins, so I try to wait and wait to put any out. Your house looks so pretty!

  20. What a great pumpkin patch!! I wish I had that one near me! The ones close by, you literally have to hike through a pumpkin patch and my kids always get covered in dirt trying to haul out the biggest pumpkin they can carry! Cause years ago I made the mistake of saying, "If you can carry it, you can have it!" Well now they are not so littte anymore! Haha!! And I love how your mom dressed up! Adorable!
