Right inside our front door...
Our schoolroom on the right...this tree is decorated with all the ornaments the kids have chosen over the years.
And some old favorites of mine as well.
The sweet Little People Nativity that has provided love and fun for little hands for so many years sits beneath.
On the left of the foyer is Steve's den...
With his own tree...
And special ornaments...
This year I added a jingle bell garland too. : )
Next...the family room. This is the room we live in...
And where we keep the family tree.
I added a few new touches this year.
But left some special favorites.
Because. Memories.
I have had the candles since our very first Christmas together.
From here you can see into the kitchen...
The heart of any home. : )
The view from our kitchen sink...
Our Brownie and Santa's Boot.
A gift from my mother...
A memory of my magical childhood. : )
And our eating area right beside...
My Santa collection found a new home this year...
And yes. This happens.
It's Christmas. : )
A nightly view of what you see when you come in from the mudroom...
Which has a few cozy touches as well.
And our bedroom...
Because. Christmas.
Thank you so much for spending time with me and allowing me to share our home with you.
I would love to see each of your Christmas homes as well. : )
Merry Christmas, friends.
It's here!
Your home tour was a real delight, you are blessed with a stunning home and have made it so special creating a beautiful space for a wonderful season. I will share mine later in the week, I am almost ready. Take care.
ReplyDeleteYour home is so beautiful Billie Jo! And I can just feel the warm and cozy come through the screen with every pic. I love your Christmas touches - old and new!! Yay for our favorite holiday time of the year!!
ReplyDeleteBlessings on your week ahead. xoxo
I loved taking the Christmas tour of your home, Billie Jo. Everything is so beautifully decorated. The Christmas trees are just lovely--each one decorated so tastefully. I'm sure your family will have a very Merry Christmas! ♥
ReplyDeleteOh Billie Jo.... you home WAITS ALLLLL YEAR to be decorated like this. I went slow and went back again. Can I just say that what I adore MOST is that your home is YOU. Each little garland, each framed picture, each Santa mug, every little thing (and the big ones too like the tree) reflect who you are. I would never want to leave that house of yours, ever during this season!
ReplyDeleteI love what you did with your new country hutch. The Santa collection looks darling there and really has found the perfect spot. I love the new soft garland on the hearth along with the fabric one on top of the mantel. Your family room calls me... I could drive that long to hang out on that couch!
I adore your bedroom with your twinkly tree and the bedspread. I love the centerpiece on the farm table. The baskets of books and the country signs here and there. Pillows and the dusting of white snow outside.
Don't let Madison see this post... because she'll be so homesick. Seriously, your Christmas home is magical, peaceful, festive, and YOU. I love is oh so much.
Merry Christmas my friend. And thanks for walking around your house and capturing all of it. Favorite post of the year!
xo

Oh, Billie Jo, I enjoyed the home tour. Loved the lighted garland. Of course, I enjoy my collection of Santa mugs too. The kids adore them and are playing with them and the little people's nativity from last year. (Thanks!) Every room is so festive and so inviting.
ReplyDeleteI loved it all!!
ReplyDeleteSo many heartfelt Christmas touches in each and every room and trees everywhere. I love that there are so many Christmas trees all with their own theme. Your home is meant for Christmas, you even had the snow fall to add the perfect touch outside ;) Wishing this month will go by as slowly as possible and you and your family enjoy every single moment!!!
Sweet friend, what a joy to take a tour of your glorious home! Everything is simply beautiful and so inviting.
ReplyDeleteI hope you and yours have a most beautiful and blessed Christmas. Hugs to you!

ReplyDeleteI always love your house. But I think I love it the most at Christmas. Cookies and Milk nightly? I love that. Do you make new dough daily? Or mix up a batch and then bake them throughout the week? I love that mudroom garland! So wonderful to have Christmas everywhere!
