What the heck?? Yes. You aren't seeing things. That is me. In a super soft crewneck that Madison and Nicolas gifted me for my birthday. Getting ready for a morning walk!! Yep. I did indeed say walk. I am happy to report that I have once again dug out and laced up my walking shoes and begun my early morning walks with Mocha! I actually enjoy the short stroll around the neighbooorhood while the world wakes up. And, I must admit, the rumors are true. Walking does makes me feel good.
Next up. A delicious Asian soup recipe we made and enjoyed for dinner on the first night of fall. This recipe is easy to put together and is incredibly delicious.
Well, I am off to start my day. A reminder to other lovers of fall television, get those DVRs ready. Survivor and The Golden Bachelor begin tonight! Big Brother is on too! With so much ugliness and hate in the world and on the news, perhaps shutting it out and snuggling in with family and fun shows is the way to go right now.
Happy Wednesday, my friends!
Wishing you all the cool fall breezes and colorful leaves today.
Billie Jo
Hooray for you! I walk on the treadmill every morning and although I don't always look forward to it, I'm always glad I did. Your views on your walk are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThe soup looks good! Thanks!
If I had those views, I might actually walk too :) And the cool weather would help! Thanks for the reminder of the shows tonight. I'm really struggling with finding a good show right now. I hope you have a cozy night :)
ReplyDeleteLove the sweatshirt and good for you getting out and walking again. It really is so good for us. That soup is just like my spicy chicken soup that I make. It's a soup that makes you feel better after eating it even if you didn't know you needed it.
ReplyDeleteWell done on lacing up your shoes and heading out for a walk around the neighborhood, Billie Jo! What beautiful views you had while walking! The soup looks mighty tasty. Will you make it again?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful morning walk!
ReplyDeleteGood for you on walking. The photos are beautiful. I'm looking forward to both of those shows tonight. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely morning walk!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos of the sky and water! I printed the soup and am going to make it. What kind of Chinese noodles did you buy?
ReplyDeleteYay for a good walk! With my arthritis I almost NEED walking on the regular (the whole motion is lotion or motion is medicine is on to something there). And what stunning photos you captured! Agree it does a body and brain good. And a wonderful sounding soup recipe too. I'm in! Already printed this one up. It's right up our alley over here. ๐ Thanks for sharing my Lovely and blessings on cozy Wednesday night programming. Survivor is Matt's absolute favorite. We will be watching! ๐๐๐งก
ReplyDeleteI'm so upset. For some strange reason my antenna will not pick up ABC so I won't get to watch Golden Bachelor. I don't have cable but have the antenna for local stations and it just refuses to work for that one station. Bummer.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful skies. It makes me smile that you are enjoying your early morning walks. Perhaps we are out walking at the same time. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm following The Voice and Dancing With The Stars this year. Love them!! I also love your photos and congrats on getting out there to walk! I am such a slug! God bless!! xo
ReplyDeleteHi Billie Jo! So glad that you are enjoying your morning walks. I also love to walk, and in fact, I just returned from my evening walk. Thanks for the soup recipe. It looks delicious. Hope your first week of fall is going well. See you again soon!
ReplyDeleteHello! As an avid walker I can't tell you how much it has helped my mental state. It really has been a blessing to me.
ReplyDeleteGood for you for getting out there for a walk. If those are the views you see on your walks, sign me up!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the soup recipe. Fall and soups just go together in my book.
I walked a lot in the Netherlands, but here it will be on my treadmill. The views are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteOh my - how did I miss the first day of fall. And to think I was immersed in the mountains...but it was toasty there in Tennessee!! I have to agree with you - walking really does work wonders. But let's not say that too often or too loud. We'll keep it our secret:)
ReplyDeleteThe soup photo looks great. Soup is such a good idea!
ReplyDeleteI have to lace up and get out there. You are rockin' it. Go you. Love the soup and the mocha!
