What started on a whim as a place to document some pieces of our family life has transformed into a space where friends from all over share their lives with me, and invite me into their lives as well. We have made lifelong friendships, celebrated countless holidays, discussed health issues, and exchanged recipes. We have shared the happiest of days and the saddest too. Thank you, my friends. Thank you!

ReplyDeleteI think we began blogging around the same time. I began to document my trip to Japan to distribute clothing and blankets to the tsunami survivors. It’s become a place of warm friendships, meet in person moments and true caring and love for other bloggers.Thanks for sharing your “blast from the past” photos today.

ReplyDeleteHi Billlie Jo! Congratulations of having your beautiful blog for 13 years! I think I have been a follower of your blog almost from the first post. I recall seeing many of these pictures the very first time you posted them. I have always admired you and your sweet family - especially the fact that you homeschooled your children. I started my blog around Halloween of 2007, so I am coming up on 18 years, and I still enjoy it. Thanks for being a wonderful blogging friend. I hope we can meet one day! (P.S. Thanks for all the great book recommendations too!)

ReplyDeleteThirteen years! Imagine that! I think I've been reading your blog for most of those years. I started at the end of 2007. I came in kicking and screaming to my husband that I didn't have anything to say. Well, that was a long time ago, and I had a lot to say! Who knew? I've watched your kids grow up as you have mine. It's a rich and wonderful life God's given to us both, isn't it?
