Good morning, my friends! This is a long one, so pour a cup of whatever makes you happy and get comfy! And be sure to click on "See Full Post." August is flying by. That means September and all the cozy goodness it brings are almost here! It is no secret that I love this time of year. I always have. I wait all year for these cloudy, cool days, the colorful falling leaves, and the first batch of pumpkin bread in the oven. 🍁 Happy September, friends. 🍂
I understand totally as the heat in Florida is oppressive. Four years here so far. I have spent several weeks in Indy with daughter and a trip to WV to see her dad and friends. I will be moving back to Indiana in September and the four seasons. Health and age needs must. Bittersweet move...my 30 plus...but leaving family here to go to family there...it is not easy...enjoy your September...I will be one year older...thankful for each day...thank you for your wonderful blog. I don't reply often...I do read...take care and prayers for you and your lovely family. You are an inspiration. Brenda
ReplyDeleteI love summer and am just hanging on to it for as long as possible! But, I like these ideas and will use some of them but later in Sept!
ReplyDeletePS - I started reading What she left behind. So good!
What a beautiful post, Billie Jo, and I love all the suggestions for each week in September. This is a very thought-filled list....complete with some recipes. Thank you for that. Much love, Andrea xoxo
ReplyDeleteYay! Its cool and breezy here this morning. I'm feeling fall in the air and I just lit my first fall candle of the season. This post is exactly what I needed today. I'm definitely doing this with you my friend! Happy new week! Fall is coming! : )
ReplyDeleteI love this. Since I moved in with my daughter, life has been chaotic. I think I'd like to take a day and deep clean. I have the Aug 29th off, and I think I'll do just that.
ReplyDeleteI love how you prepare for the season and month to come. They are all great years. I'm tempted to try your pumpkin bread and when I do I'll be sure to let you know. I'm always looking for new recipes.
ReplyDeleteI meant IDEAS not years. Sorry.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy your blog , but do not share your love of fall! In the PNW, summer days are few, and fall signals winter. I wait for spring and summer like you wait for fall!
ReplyDeleteSuch great lists! I'll save this for when it gets closer to fall. It is so hot that my brain just can't believe we will ever get to cool fall days! Haha!
