Good Monday morning, my friends! Yes, my coffee looks a little different this morning. At some point, I apparently thought making the dog grooming appointment at 8:00 A.M. was a good idea. The upside is that I got my coffee on the way home! And, I can check that one off my list.
Speaking of lists, thank you for your comments and support. I am doing well and am checking these appointments off my list, one by one. My dear friend, Danielle, reminds me of that, and I am thankful! So far, we have all had a dentist appointment. I have had my mammogram and yearly female appointment. Thankfully, all is well with those for another year. Amen.
This week is Holy Week, a very blessed time of year. We went to a beautiful penance service and met Heather and Dave for dinner yesterday. This week, in addition to attending church services, we have our annual dermatology appointments, physicals, and dog groomers, which is happening as we speak. We plan to have dinner at Peyton's house and decorate sugar cookies too. In between all that, Flynn and I continue to homeschool and prepare her for the Sacrament of Confirmation she will receive at the end of this month.
Of course, we left plenty of time for cozy snuggling, too.
Have a wonderful Monday! I apologize for not being around to visit. I will snuggle on the couch and catch up with you soon!

Pinterest knows what's up!
I also dread checking off all of the medical/dental appointments. Good for you getting them done!!
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a lovely Holy Week.
ReplyDeletesome weeks are just busy...I had one of those last week. We had early morning appointments, which totally throws my off of my reg schedule. Glad you are getting all of these necessary appointments done.
ReplyDeleteThat’s fantastic that Flynn is being confirmed as a teenager. My diocese had children get first communion and confirmation at the same time and don’t know if they understood the sacrament as 8 year olds. I wish they had kept Confirmation at an age that they appreciate its deep meaning.
ReplyDeleteI will be thinking of Flynn as she goes through her Confirmation. It sounds as if you have a really full week...enjoy each moment, my living in the present friend. :) xx
ReplyDeleteEaster week is so special!
ReplyDeleteGood for you for getting all those appts done, it's great to know all is well and just to have them out of the way.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a good week for your family. I love the time to pray meme!
Ahhh a Dunkin frozen hot chocolate is always a favorite of mine! Looks like a busy week for you - but there's always time for snuggles with pups and family dinners - as it should be. Thanks for the reminder 😊
ReplyDeleteHi BillieJo! So glad that you are getting all those pesky yearly appointments taken care of, and that you are finding that all is well. I need to make an eye appointment so I will follow your example, pray for help with the anxiety and get it taken care of. Sounds like you have a busy but good week planned. I absolutely love the thought that if there is time to worry, there is time to pray! See you again soon!
ReplyDeleteYou're like the words to the Christmas song, "[she's] makin' a list, checkin' it twice ..." as you get so many necessary things done. Good for you!
ReplyDeleteAh that happens, at least you got a treat on the way home from the groomers. What's your go-to Dunkin order? Love the pictures of the pups!
ReplyDeleteThere is a hymn that we sing in church and the last line is
ReplyDeleteWhy worry, worry, worry, when you can pray. :)
I try to make my appointments early in the morning. I might grumble when I have to rush out of the house, but I am grateful that I can get in and out.
ReplyDeletePraying is always better than worrying!! My Joe always quoted "Worry is interest paid in advance for trouble that rarely comes". I enjoyed this post and wish you and yours a beautiful Holy Week! Good, always, to get those appointments over and done!!
ReplyDeleteI don't blame you for hating early morning grooming appointments. I've kind of decided that dog shows aren't as much fun for me because you have to get up so so early to groom your dog. So even grooming crazies like me hate early morning grooming!!!
ReplyDeleteJust look at those pups! They couldn't be more content if they tried.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad that you're finding reassurance by getting those appointments ticked off. Xx
Oh, Flynn will receive her Confirmation soon, that's very special, indeed. I'm glad you got all those appts. taken care of. I LOVE the "worry" quote and picture. And your dogs look so content lying there by the fire. I still have my heater on. Thank you for a wonderful post this morning, Billie Jo. I'm going to have to send that coffee and books quote to the girls, it's delightful.

I do hope everyone was well behaved at the groomer:) and that all the pups are looking so nice for the upcoming holiday weekend!!:) Hooray for coffee to-go on those early morning appointments!!
ReplyDeleteIt is such a good feeling to get those appointments taken care of and know that all is well. I'll be doing a lot of those this month too and always get a bit anxious beforehand.
ReplyDeleteIt is chaos for sure. A book and coffee makes perfect sense.
ReplyDeleteNice all your appointments go well. I had dentist yesterday too. I wish you a Happy Easter 🐣 time!
ReplyDeleteI so enjoy seeing pics of your fur babies. I don't have a dog of my own (my daughter-in-law is allergic; and yes to all dogs). I have to get my pet fix from others' babies 🐶
