Friday Photos And Favorite Weekly Recipe

Well, Happy Friday, my friends! I hope your week was happy, healthy, and a little cozy too. We had snow one day this week, and Flynn and I watched someone kayaking on the lake the next! Let's see; what else did my week include?

Coffee every morning.

Healthy lunches for the husband.

A Penguin hockey game for the guys and a movie night, complete with Titanic and Mcdonald's for the girls!

The favorite meal of the week, besides the gumbo, was simple chicken tenders and macaroni and cheese. I shared the chicken tenders recipe before, but I will link it below, just in case!

Have a cozy weekend! Thanks so much for visiting, my friends. I am always happy that you do.

  1. You can just tell, that Steve adored doting on his daughters but also enjoys the grown up perks of having a guy pack now that he has two son-in-laws. What a great blessing to add some awesome men to all your lives!

Your Titanic night sounds perfect. Simple meals are always my favorite!

  8. No snow in this part of the state but it is cold again today after reaching 73 degrees yesterday. I'm not minding it so much since the sun is shining and the wind has stopped blowing. The boys look like they thoroughly enjoyed their night out!

  19. It has been cold and a bit of snow on Thurs and some traffic was stuck due to ice northbound on I-5 freeway, Not as many customers at Panera due to storm but we have electricity and trying to stay warm in the house. Southbound got stuck as well out of Portland. My daughter made dinner 2x this past week which was helpful. I want to get a few things done this afternoon and watch something on Roku tv later. M and I watched Call the Midwife Friday evening. That's the day I worked on remainder of my blog post while watching the show. I hit something on laptop and internet closed . But i did figure out what happened. Have a good week and thanks for sharing your days in life! God bless and stay warm and happy!!

  20. Oh, those healthy lunches you are preparing look really good. A wonderful picture of the guys at the hockey game. I've always thought hockey was such a rugged and awesome sport. And McDonald's I can never refuse, love it. I really like the peace quote, and it's so true. And your Blessed cup is just precious. I love seeing it every time you use it for a cup of coffee. ; )
