Just Starting To Think

I know! I know! We have so much more of summer to enjoy! And I am here for it. Promise. The great thing about late July is it is no longer considered entirely abnormal to start thinking and talking about fall and Halloween. Not that being normal is all that important to me. I left that train long ago. This time of year has always been a favorite of mine. For me, the anticipation is as much fun as the season itself. So it begins, my friends. Summer with a side of autumn, please! And a great big scoop of Halloween for dessert!

Have a cozy, spooky Wednesday, my friends!

Pinterest is ready for it too!

  2. fall cannot come fast enough for me and it's way to early in the summer season to be pining away so I am trying to behave myself.

  6. It is terrible hot here in Mississippi! I will be honest though, in the last few years I begun to actually enjoy summer and winter. I do love fall too.

  7. I love fall…moved to Florida last year though…I don’t care for Halloween …not a Scrooge but…when we owned our little Hallmark store, they were surprised I would not carry witches…love your blog so much..it was not a franchise…we owned it…so we made the decision…

  8. It never hurts to think ahead. After too many hot, humid days I, too, start thinking fall thoughts. Just the other day I began following an IG account called Fall Christmas and Coffee. Ha! I think we are thinking alike.

  12. Summer is good for some reasons but the heat isn't the best when its high 80+. I like having our heat pump as it has heat and cooler in it. Different than one in our single wide manufactured home when we lived in NM, where it there was a swamp cooler on the roof. OK until it was summer time and with thunder and lightning and rain at night made the house very warm inside. Good memories though as it was a good state to be in but glad to move back to OR. I like spring and fall the most. Thanks for sharing funny things to laugh at and ponder in mind! God bless!

  13. I'm a fall girl, too! I'm not chomping at the bit to decorate, but give me a week or two and it will hit as I am seeing more and more posts on FB and the fall magazines are coming out.

  14. Oh, I am waiting for Fall too, Billie Jo. And this coffee quote is so true, isn't it? July seems to be the month when all the stores are starting to put out their goodies too. I'll try to finish Summer patiently along with you, but Fall is calling to me already. Have a blessed week, my friend.

  17. This is the point where it's been so hot for so long, I look forward to fall as my hope for the future! Tomorrow (Monday) I have substitute teacher training, so it feels like school's starting! School means fall!
