Fall And Halloween And Fall

Quiet early mornings ~ candy corn inspired sweaters ~ a cozy pup with sweaters of her own ~ a dining room decorated with shades of white and grey ~ and fun, festive treats for dessert

These are just a few of the ways we are spending our days this cozy month of October. We are also enjoying the countless movies and specials available this time of year. AMC has Fearfest, a vast collection of recent horror movies. Lately, though, I have been enjoying TCM and the classic ones from the past. And if you have Dish TV, check out Channel 199. Just for fun!

How are you spending these October days, my friends? Please share down below.
Have a cozy Wednesday!

  1. How am I spending these days? Working. I am also working Halloween evening, no matter, Trick or Treating was cancelled here so there will not be any trick or treating here. I love that sweater you are wearing, smiles.

    Have a great day friend.

  2. Hi Billie Jo~

Love your sweaters, you and Mocha look very fall-ish :0) I'm watching fun movies...Hocus Pocus is always a favorite for me and my grands. Yesterday, I bought pumpkin spice doughnuts for a fun dessert, but I do love your cute cupcakes!! Halloween is almost here!

    Hugs and Love,

  3. That view of yours! I don't think I'd get anything done as I'd be right there at the window just watching the water all of the time. Those cupcakes also look delicious. Added a little pumpkin pie spice to my coffee this morning after reading your post the other day :) Happy Wednesday!

  4. Loved this post-from the window view to the candy-corn sweater to sweet poochie. I am getting ready to paint trimwork before winter sets in. It never got done because we moved when Covid shut everything down. So...my BIG treat is going back to Starbucks again for a morning coffee! xo Diana

  5. I saw the link on Beside the Babbling Brook to your blog and wondered if you have heard from her. I don't have any way to get in touch with her and I'm thinking about her. Now I'm off to look around your beautiful blog too! Hugs, Diane

  6. Hi Billie Jo - We don't have Dish, but do enjoy watching shows on PBS - especially on Sunday nights. They have some really good series. I love both your and your puppy's sweaters and those cupcakes look oh so good! Enjoy the rest of the week.

  7. Of course you have a candy corn sweater! Lol!! That's awesome!! Love your view - I could sit and look at that all day. A favorite after school treat has been real apple cider simmering on the stove with brown sugar and a cinnamon stick. Serving a big mug with homemade cookies or whatever snack of the day I have on hand. Getting snowflakes here now too! It's messing with my Fall vibes. Grrr.
Oh another fave has been reading my Fall cookbooks and watching Fall hallmark movies. 🍁

  8. Thank you for the information about the Halloween cups. I am starting "fall" cleaning as I like to have things decluttered by Christmas. Fall this year seems to be the prettiest yet.

  11. I've been streaming some of the old horror flicks during the day, even if it's just for background noise.

  12. Oh my gosh, you have the most Yummy desserts! I really like that sweater you're wearing. I just started to wash my Fall clothes, as it's starting to get cold now. The view from your window is so pretty. Have a delightful Halloween week, Billie Jo.
