This is it, my friends. The time of year I wait for. Some people dream of long, hot, sunny days with sunscreen, waterskis, and coolers. Others enjoy crisp, cold, snowy days with skis and snowmobiles. Me? I live for these chilly-but-not-cold days filled with vibrant colors and darker skies. I love the feel and scent and sights of autumn. And while I am happiest snuggled inside with a candle burning and an open book on my lap, I am finding lake life much more conducive to being outside enjoying the gifts of this cozy season.
Life is confusing these days, isn't it? I find it helpful to ground myself in the stability of nature. And in all things pumpkin spice. Have a lovely week, my friends. Thanks for visiting!
Beautiful! This morning in Fort Wayne it's dark and dreary which means candles are lit and that cozy feeling sets in. I love it.
ReplyDeleteBEAUTIFUL! Your view is simply stunning and we please talk about Mocha's collar?! Love!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy new week my friend! Miss you! :)
Beautiful, stunning, wow... A little vacation in your own backyard, seriously picture perfect! I also love Mocha’s collar and what I think is a life vest!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I grew up in PA and miss fall so much.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely stunning! Is that a little life jacket on Mocha or just a sweater? Adorable either way. So glad you can appreciate nature in a new big way this season.
ReplyDeleteIt is indeed a tiny life jacket!!!

ReplyDeleteOh, these are such pretty photos, Billie Jo. I enjoyed seeing the sunset, as I see the sunrises more often. Your photos are so special. And Fall is already starting to show its beauty in the trees there. That little rose collar on your dog makes me smile every time. I'm glad you are enjoying your new place, and Yes all things pumpkin spice! ; )

So lovely! Pennsylvania is a beautiful state, for sure! I fuss and cry about summer ending, because I love the warm summer evenings and bare feet, but shh, I do love autumn too.

ReplyDeleteSimply magnificent!! I am with you! Fall is such a breath of fresh air to me! I have always loved fall.. long before it even became popular to love it and way before pumpkin spice was a big thing! Although now I can’t imagine a fall without anything pumpkin spice😂 Thanks for share your beautiful part of the world with me❤️
ReplyDeleteSuch amazing views at sunset... it is a favorite part of my day to enjoy the beauty in the skies. You captured some glorious vistas out there on your boat... and that sweet Mocha, what a cutie! I love the fresh crisp days of Fall too. Many blessings to you :)
ReplyDeleteSO pretty. I used to love boat riding, but the older I've gotten the worse my motion sickness has gotten.
ReplyDeleteThat scenery is beautiful and good for the soul!
