That is about how it happened, my friends. And I couldn't be happier! In a few short weeks, we will say goodbye to this cozy, country house we have called home for almost thirteen years, and begin a new chapter in our lives.
Although this move has been something Steve and I have discussed many times, we were surprised and excited when we found the perfect home in the perfect place, not too terribly far from this one. Steve's job is taking us closer to his wonderful family, and we are beyond thrilled to be able to spend more time with them.
We are so thankful that God has made this new adventure so easy for us thus far. Once we saw the new house, we were able to purchase it quickly. Then, with the help of a sweet neighbor, we were able to sell this home to the nicest, sweetest family within just a few days. I am so happy that this home, which has been so special to us, will now be home to this lovely family of four, including the cutest two year old twins ever!
The past few weeks have found the kids and I sorting and organizing, packing and purging. Steve is taking care of all the technical things that make no sense to me at all. I am finding it so refreshing to actually let go of so much physical and mental clutter! I suppose those boxes I carefully packed thirteen years ago when we moved here, and have been neatly stacked in our basement since, are things we can live without, right?
So there you have it, my friends. We are off on a new adventure, and I can't wait to share it with you! I welcome all thoughts and prayers as we embark on this new chapter in our already blessed lives.
Thanks for visiting, and for your friendship.
It means so much to me. : )
