Hello, and Happy Friday! How was your week? The closer we get to Christmas, the faster the days seem to pass. They were a good mix of the ordinary and the festive around here. Some things got done: Homeschool, laundry, a bit of cleaning, and thinking about wrapping. Some things did not: Wrapping, cleaning, and baking. Afternoons were spent by the tree, waiting for the darkness that would make the tree lights glisten. More meals were takeout than necessary, and the bed went unmade more mornings than not. That's okay with me, though. December is forgiving. And festive and fun.
One night this week, we all bundled up and went to the most beautiful Christmas market I have ever seen. Madison and Nicolas had been there and loved it. It was a perfect night, and we all enjoyed the time together. This is one of the bridges we crossed over, all lit up for Christmas.

Such beautiful pictures of your fun time at the Christmas market!
ReplyDeleteFlynn looks so cute with that new haircut!
That does look like a wonderful Christmas market. Great pictures of you and your lovely family. Enjoy the weekend my friend.
ReplyDeleteFlynn's hair is gorgeous! And you got such great photos of all of you. I especially love the one of you and hubby. I have always wanted to go to a Christmas market! But there are never any around here. It must have been a blast! Did you buy anything? And the BRIDGE!! I have never seen anything like it! This has to have been the highlight of the season so far.
ReplyDeleteWe have a Christmas party tonight and I'll be hitting up the grocery store tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteSo grateful that, yes, December is forgiving. I feel as if I have missed it. So much I could (should) be doing this first afternoon that I actually feel rather human again...but I am enjoying catching up on some blogs! I hope to post again on Monday but, until then, wanted to wish you a merry December best wishes!!
ReplyDeleteLOVE Flynn's new haircut! Absolutely cute on her! That bridge with the colored lights -- beautiful! Your words, "December is forgiving, festive, and fun." We all need to believe that!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you had a lovely time together - and that's what makes this time special! You're so right...some things get done, some get shuffled to tomorrow's to-do list...and that's just fine. Have a wonderful pre-Christmas weekend...enjoy every moment!! So so glad to have found your little corner of the world from my little corner!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!

ReplyDeleteOh, that bridge all lit up is so pretty! I don't think I've ever seen the whole show of Christmas with the Kranks, but it's always in the background while I'm wrapping presents or cooking. Flynn's hair cut is cute, and that's a nice photo of you and Madison. Oh, and I love your red plaid hand bag, so cute. So glad to hear you will see Peyton soon too. Have a peaceful Sunday, Billie Jo, and a merry week ahead.
