Hello! Happy Friday, my friends! This week flew right by, didn't it? Around here, it was a good mix of Christmas fun and ordinary days. My camera roll is proof of that. And today, along with the "blog-worthy" photos, as my family calls them, I am sharing more "real-life" ones too. Why? Because I never want to falsely portray a picture-perfect life. Just a real one. First, though, some good ones!
Flynn and I before the Holy Day mass on Monday evening...
Followed by this delicious meal of cranberry-orange chicken, homemade macaroni and cheese, and green beans, which Madison and Nicolas made for us at their house.
There was chocolate pecan pie, too. : )
And another delicious meal this week: Old Bay Honey Chicken with mashed potatoes and broiled vegetables, courtesy of Kyrstin!
Now, some random real-life pictures that ended up on my camera roll!
I decided to deep-clean the mudroom for the first time since we moved in. And, I need to lock my phone because these pictures were clearly not intended!
Flynn's algebra problems? Sometimes we send them in the family group text to see if anyone can get the correct answer. We are weird like that!
I got nothing for this one.
And finally, I decided to clean out Steve's closet while he was away at hunting camp. Again, not been done since we moved in four months ago. The kids always joke that "Mom must be in one of her moods" when I start doing this!
It was worth the pain I felt the next day!
Have a wonderful weekend, my friends!
Enjoy the season!
Billie Jo

I get that whole cleaning thing - I get in those moods too and it does feel good when it's done!
ReplyDeleteI'm not ok with that algebra question!
Jingle halfway has me cackling. :) I love that you share algebra questions in the group chat. I however would not be able to contribute to that group chat. I was and still am terrible at algebra.
ReplyDeleteNever in my life have I needed the algebra that I was taught back in the seventh grade. Those meals look delicious. In fact, I think I’m going to make chicken over the weekend so I should take some out of the freezer to thaw. Thanks for the inspiration.
ReplyDeleteYum on the meals you featured, Billie Jo! One can never have too much macaroni and cheese. Have a peaceful and beautiful weekend.
