Happy Weekend, my friends! We have a lot of nothing planned, except for Mass and some time on the beach. Steve and Madison usually go to the farmer's market and get all the fresh produce and bread for the week. Once they do that, I will put together a rough idea of the meals we will have for the week.
I don't have many pictures to share with you today. All three of the pups were experiencing some type of stomach situation and were not feeling themselves. We had a quieter-than-usual week, keeping close to home! I am happy to report that after a few days of rest and a modified diet of chicken and rice, they all appear to be back to normal.
In other exciting news, I've finally figured out who's behind the serenade we receive so often here. It appears to be this guy and a whole lot of his friends!
Oh! Madison made muffins! She brought them over, and I thought yet again how happy I am that my kids love to bake.
I'd hate to leave you without a few more pictures, and since I have no more of my own, I took a few that I found online, and kept them for some reason or other, perhaps for this very moment.
Have a lovely weekend, my friends!
Thanks for reading.
I appreciate you!
Billie Jo

A weekend with no plans sounds delightful! And those muffins look great!
ReplyDeletePoor pups! Glad they are doing better. You are lucky to get those beautiful baked goods!
ReplyDeleteIt's one thing to have kids who like to bake. It's another thing to have kids who share!! Glad your pups are doing better. Have a good weekend.
ReplyDeleteOld lady stuff for me! I love these things you found online. The muffins look AWESOME and are actually making my mouth water. The poor pups, they look exhausted. It must have been a really contagious virus. I think your froggies went a' Courtin"!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad the plague has ended for the pups and they are getting back to normal!!!
ReplyDeleteI really like the graphics you've shared here, especially the one about Old Lady Stuff. I definitely qualify for that!!
Poor pups. I'm glad they are feeling better. It's no fun being sick. A laid back week sounds pretty good to me, though. Wishing you a beautiful weekend!
ReplyDeletePoor puppies! I'm happy they are ok.
ReplyDeleteFridays sure roll around fast.
ReplyDeleteOh my those muffins look soooo good!!! I want one. :)
I like that old lady stuff too!! LOL I enjoyed your post, Billie Jo. Have a blessed weekend! xo
ReplyDeleteThat old lady stuff is the best isn't it? I would love one of those muffins. Piper brought some sourdough bread that she baked the other day. It was still warm from the oven. She's practicing for her 4H entry for the fair. It had rosemary and sea salt and was amazing! I told her she can bake for Grandma anytime. :-)
