Good morning! How was your weekend? Our weekend was quiet, and I am not unhappy about that. I did laundry, washed some bedsheets, picked up a grocery order, got a Vanilla Latte at Dunkin', and had a wonderful visit with my momma. Football played on a continual loop here, so I watched an unhealthy amount of Forensic Files. And I may or may not have a weird habit of looking up the criminals to see what happened to them. I know. Strange but true!

Hi Billie Jo. So glad you had a nice weekend. Yes, I watch crime shows. Dateline is probably the one I watch most. One station here has Dateline reruns every night, so I watch those as well as the new ones on Friday night, and yes, I was watching Forensic Files just last night. Yes, our bed gets made every day (I used to make it but not that Charly is retired, he does it). I do wear socks to bed. My feet get cold. We use liquid laundry detergent. We used to make our own detergent and that was powdered. I'm not a huge game show fan. Never watch them. I guess the Addams Family would be my preference but didn't really get into either The Addams Family or The Munsters. Hubby loves the old Addams Family shows. Best book - that a really tough one. I really loved LIFE WITH FATHER by Clarence Day. It's an oldie - probably out of print, but I got an old used copy at a library book sale years ago. What a delightful book. Fun questions. What amazes me is that people whined about gas prices...now they are down...never a word of thankfulness...now they complain about the price of groceries, yet go out to eat all the time...we have a war going on...people have died of a virus we knew nothing about, and people complain about the price of an egg. I am astonished...I am thankful the Lord has bless us enough to live in a country where we can buy an egg...walk the streets...thank you for your faithfulness...your kindness...your goodness...

We had a puzzle show called "Cijfers en Letters" (Numbers and Letters) when I was a child. Loved to play along.

Never really watch either of them.

I don't have one favorite, but The humans and How to stop time by Matt Haig are on the top of my list.

Monday Morning Coffee Talk

The best book... that's a tough one. I've read The Robe twice. I don't read many novels though, I prefer biographies. I liked two of Julie Andrews books Home, and Homework, and I liked Carrie Fisher's book The Princess Diaries.

7. I watched one when I was a kid with my dad, but unfortunately I can't remember which one. So I have no opinion on this one.
8. I can't really choose just one, but I'll give it a shot. I was at the library and totally grabbed a book because I liked the cover. Once I started reading it I couldn't put it down. I then realized it was a trilogy. So I went back to the library and got the other 2. I eventually bought all 3 because I loved them that much. That's the only time I read 3 books in one week lol. The first book is called "Gideon the Cutpurse" and the trilogy is labeled The Gideon Trilogy. It's a time traveling young adult book.
