I am a hold out on packing Christmas away. The last thing I always do is put away my Christmas bedding. Although it makes me sad, I am also happy to see my bedroom all back to normal. The cozy quilt with the tear in the corner, cleverly covered by a throw blanket, the matching throw on the chair, a stack of books waiting to be read...This is my normal. And it is good. There is goodness to be found in every season. This I have learned.
Enjoy your normal, my friends.
Stay warm and cozy. : )
Beautiful. Thanks for sharing. Blessings

I love s quilt on a bed. One just right for the main bedroom. It will be the only room without mostly whites. I'm ready! Your room is adorable.
ReplyDeleteHi Billie Jo~
ReplyDeleteI think it's a good thing to keep a few things around to remind us of, Christmas. In fact, I sometimes keep up just one little decoration, to remind me of Christmas . . . or should I say, the feeling of Christmas. I try to live a Christ centered life, but it's always good to have a reminder to look at through the year, to help keep me on track.
Your quilt is beautiful, and looks very cozy. All those little imperfections just make it even more beautiful!
Hugs,
Barb
Very lovely! I just adore quilts of all kinds. :-) Stay warm!

Yes, normal is gooooood! So why are we tearing up all of our rooms and repainting? I begged Scott. The walls do need a spruce up but the dinning room chairs are right now in my hallway. The curtains are stacked in the living room. Uggggg! I can't wait to make everything pretty again! ~ I love your bedroom.
