Even as I type this, I can't believe it is May! How I wish this time of my life would slow down...In any case, it is time to take a peek into my May folder...
Here is what is inside...
The first thing inside is the May poem.
May
The wind is tossing the lilacs,
The new leaves laugh in the sun,
And the petals fall on the orchard wall,
But for me the spring is done.
Beneath the apple blossoms
I go a wintry way,
For love that smiled in April
Is false to me in May.
Sara Teasdale
The next thing is my handwritten list of things to do in May.
May
1. Mother's Day Gifts and cards
2. Complete prep and gifts for Peyton
and Rhett birthday.
3. Porch furniture out and washed
4. Clean furnace filters.
5. Switch coat closets.
6. Decorate for summer.
7. End of year teacher gifts.
8. Memorial Day supplies
I also have my Mother's Day cards I bought
for my and Steve's mom. I am one of THOSE
people...you know...the ones who buy things
the minute the store puts them out. And then
I can't remember where I put them...
Happy May! Happy Planning!
