I Like
- Dipping McDonald's fries in Chick-fil-A sauce
- Freshly sharpened pencils on my desk
- Raspberries and blackberries in the fridge
- Setting up a new month in my planner
- Looking up people from old game shows to see how their lives turned out
- Watching old game shows like Card Sharks and Match Game 76
- A big bowl of white rice with butter, salt, and pepper
- Waking up every day knowing I will soon have hot coffee with vanilla creamer
- Showering and putting on fresh pajamas after swimming
- Snoopy ambience videos on YouTube
But, I Don't Like
- Mint mixed with any other flavor
- Piles of unsorted dirty laundry
- Walking, driving, or being outside for any length of time, January through March
- Drinking warm tap water that has been sitting in a glass for too long
- The person who decided crop tops are the one thing every woman wants to wear
- Washing my hair after I go to the salon because it won't ever look this good again
- Trends that everyone jumps on just because they are the "In" thing, ex Protein
- The dreaded "drop-in" because I need time to prepare for socializing
How about you, my friends?
Happy Wednesday!
Billie Jo

Gosto do café ao levantar, sentir o cheiro do café sendo coado pela manhã, e também não gosto de surpresa para encontros, perfeito!
ReplyDeleteI like old game shows too, but never thought to look those people up.
ReplyDeleteI have raspberries and blueberries in my fridge most of the time. I love them with cottage cheese.
Mint! I love it, and unlike you I like it with most anything.
I'm also good with drop in visitors. They can't expect much if they just drop in. However I don't want them dropping in if I'm already in my PJ's! :)
I’m right there with you on so many! Drop ins stress me out, as do people who text and tell me they’re just going to swing by - that counts as a drop in to me = stress! I would probably also add people who don’t take our grandmother’s advice - Just because you think it, doesn’t mean you need to say it. On a plus side, I love the smell of lilacs and hyacinths, and a pink drink from Starbucks with strawberry sweet cream, cold foam. Cozy up my friend - it has been the best winter ever for that!
ReplyDeleteI will hone in on The Dreaded Drop In. My late mother-in-law was good at this, but I can't decide which I hated more, when she gave me like a ten minute notice, and had me panic cleaning, or dropped in unexpectedly...of course she NEVER did that when I had just got things all clean and tidy, no it was always when it was hurricane-ish. :).
