All The Things

Friday again, but this time it's a Friday in October, which automatically elevates it significantly. Here is a bit of our first few October days. First up, early morning walks, just as the world around me is waking up.

Reading really good books and snuggling on the couch with the puppy...

More walks and a new visitor...

And a delicious, cozy dinner of chicken and dumplings to welcome this lovely month.

Thank you for stopping by, my friends! Have a wonderful weekend!

Billie Jo

  5. The sunrises you must see on your early morning walks must be wonderful. The chicken and dumplings look really good. It's a delicious comfort food during the cold months. What a pretty picture of the Egret? The bats on your Header reminded me of something. When Nel lived in Georgia, they used to often come out at night, and she would see them in her backyard, eeeek! It's October Billie Jo, and our favorite season is here!

  7. What beautiful pictures they’re so peaceful looking. I am thoroughly enjoying fall, even though in Kansas the temperature still feel more like summer. Fall is such a cozy season. Have a lovely weekend, my friend!

  10. Another good Friday in Oregon that we had. There was some fog in the area but better later. The food that you made looks delicious. I keep reading a book a few times a week so I will get done reading it soon. Happy and blessed weekend!
