Good morning, my friends! If you have read here for any amount of time, you know how much we love holidays and holiday traditions. Even though all but one of my children are grown, they still look forward to our traditions every year. The kids actually organized our festivities tonight, including egg coloring, decorating our traditional Easter Bunny Cake, and watching a favorite Easter movie. Sidenote here: A debate exists in our family between which is the true story of the Easter Bunny, Here Comes Peter Cottontail, or The Easter Bunny is Comin' to Town. What do you think? We would love to know! Have a wonderful Wednesday, my friends. I have added some photos from past Easters because I am sentimental like that.
Oh, the old photos are treasures, Billie Jo. I loved seeing them all. Flynn's smile warms my heart. I remember those Easter baskets from long ago, weren't they fun? And the coloring of the Easter eggs back in the day, such special times. The Easter bunny picture is delightful too. ; )
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter to you, Billie Jo.

Down Memory Lane.... -sweet-
ReplyDeleteHaven't seen those cartoons in so long, I don't remember enough, to Vote.
But I think a Fred Astaire like character, introduces one, so guess I have to Vote for that one. Who doesn't like Fred Astaire? -smile-

Such fun Easter memories! Been a long time since I've watched the Easter cartoons, don't think I've even seen the newer movies. My having not seen them in forever vote leans toward Peter Cottontail but I couldn't begin to say why. Happy Easter!
ReplyDeletePeter cottontail! Haven't heard the other version....Flynn was/is a cutie!
ReplyDeleteI love the old pictures, your kids are all lovely, but your baby Flynn was/IS, so adorable! My youngest is 13, and they don't care much for Easter baskets, good thing there are grandkids now ha!
ReplyDeleteSo cute! Precious. Have a Blessed Easter!🌸
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter!
ReplyDeleteIt's been so long since I've seen those Easter movies that I don't even remember how the stories went! My kids were never into those movies like they were the Christmas ones. I loved seeing all your photos. Your home and dinners always look so cozy. Wishing you and yours a blessed and happy Easter!
