Some days were sunny and warm,
which was perfect because we were out and about.
And some days looked like this,
which was perfect because we stayed home and snuggled.
Just like this. : )
Steve and I had a lunch date.
We went to an old fashioned ice cream parlor which also happens to make the best homemade soup.
It is so good in fact, we brought some home for a cozy dinner.
We added a loaf of store bought bread and a delicious spinach and tomato salad.
Family dinners need not be elaborate affairs.
Just as long as you all sit down together as much as you can, you've got it covered.
Madison made a delicious dinner one night this past week.
She made vegetable pasta with tomato sauce and fresh Parmesan with an amazing salad too.
And the BEST Banana Bread ever.
Thanks for the recipe, Aunt Deb!
I had a Happy Mom moment when I noticed three books on the end table...
each one belonging to one of my girls.
One of the best gifts I have shared with my children is a genuine love of reading.
Rhett is a reader too.
He is currently enjoying To Kill A Mockingbird for school.
Well, that's a wrap.
This weekend we will finish unpacking the remaining tubs and complete the final touches in our new home.
I hope to take some photos and start sharing our new home with you next week.
Until then, have a happy and blessed weekend with your people!
Thank you for visiting!!!

So are you loving the new place? Wow, the meals look so good. We have not been having snow but Mother Nature has been messing with us where the warmer, cooler, warmer, cooler weather comes into play. Rain now for the next few days.
ReplyDeleteLove the photos. You have some beautiful girls! I love seeing the books, My oldest daughter takes after me with the love of reading but sadly, my youngest is much like her father and will not even pick up a book. They don't know what they are missing!!!!
