Stuffed Peppers
Ingredients:
- Bell Peppers
- 1 pound ground beef or turkey, browned with garlic salt and drained
- 2 cups of rice, cooked (I use Jasmine Rice.)
- Tomato Sauce
- Mozzarella cheese, shredded
Directions:
- Slice top off of peppers. Rinse and clean out well.
- Mix browned meat and rice together.
- Stuff peppers with meat mixture.
- Pour sauce over, cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
- Uncover and sprinkle with cheese. Bake until melted.
- Serve with mashed potatoes and applesauce.
We love stuffed peppers over here. I really think these will go on the menu for next week, we're overdue!

ReplyDeleteOne of our favorite meals is stuffed peppers. Love your recipe. The good thing about stuffed peppers is you can mix up the recipe all sorts of ways.

I made some the other day in the slow cooker. My husband can't handle tomato sauce too often, so I used the red mild enchilada sauce and it gave it a lot of flavor. I also used uncooked lean ground beef, mixed it with regular rice, and leftover pieces of the bell peppers.

I adore stuffed peppers.. my all time favorite meal growing up. My mom sometimes still makes them for me on my birthday! I know Anna will love these... gonna make them this week! Thanks for sharing friend! xo
