Good Monday morning, my friends! I hope your weekend was everything you hoped it would be and then some. Our weekend was filled with fall fun and then some. Saturday morning, I went to breakfast with Madison at our favorite coffee shop and had all things pumpkin spice. Then Saturday afternoon, we returned to Mass for the first time since the pandemic began, and I have to tell you it was a wonderful feeling to be in church again. Saturday evening, we had a cozy fall campfire complete with s'mores and Halloween brownies. Sunday, we went to the pumpkin patch, suffered through yet another Steeler loss, and enjoyed some broccoli cheese soup with fresh bread for dinner. Then we watched an old Halloween movie from the list of thirty-one we chose to watch this month. I will share that soon! We watched Frankenstein from 1931. It was really good! A true classic.
Pumpkin Spice iced coffee, Pumpkin Spice scone, and a Pumpkin Spice sweater. From Loft, if you are wondering.
Switched out my purse for the month. I did leave it in the car during Mass, of course.
Love a fall fire in the backyard. Except for the smell of my hair until I wash it.
So glad we can visit with my Mom!
She is the best person I will ever know.
Have a fabulous October Monday, my friends!
Yay!!!!! I'm so glad you are able to visit your mom and go back to church in person!!! How wonderful. I'm sure both were good for your spirits!ReplyDelete
That purse is so cool!ReplyDelete
Sounds like you had a very wonder-fall weekend! Love how you coordinated your outfit with your pumpkin spice breakfast. Happy for you that you are able to go visit your mom and attend church in person again. Hope you have a wonderful week!ReplyDelete

That's Fall weekend perfection right there!!!ReplyDelete
Sounds like an absolutely perfect Fall weekend. That sweater is SO cute!!ReplyDelete
Treasuring Fall over her too. Savoring every single day. Just took a road trip this past weekend and it was so wonderful to see the Fall color! Annie even picked up her halloween costume (talked about it today on blog - it's steampunk themed if you don't get to stop by). This best of all months in my humble opinion. 🎃❤️ Have a blessed week. xo
I want to sip a pumpkin spice coffee around the campfire and eat a smore! Save me a seat next time! Your weekend sounds perfect. And I LOVE your sweaters!ReplyDelete
Love the picture of you, your sister, and your mom ❤ReplyDelete
Happy October Billie Jo!
Hi BIllie Jo. I love all of your scary October fun! It is great to be back in church after a long absence, is it!?! I really like your cute, cute Halloween/Pumpkin sweaters. So glad you could spend time with your mom. Hope you have a great week.ReplyDelete
You had a fabulous weekend, Billie Jo! Love your sweater. It is nice to be able to return to some normalcy, though our area is not doing that great. Enjoy your favorite time of year!ReplyDelete
I love everything about what you're doing! Except the purse. I don't know who he is, but he looks mean!ReplyDelete
Enjoy the month! I have two kids committed to carving pumpkins near the end of the month. Cancer has messed things up for the last few years. This year I hope to have some fun this fall!
There are just so many things I love about your photos! The mug, sweater, fire and purse photos make me smile. The picture with your Mom makes me have happy tears for you, sad tears that I can't see my mom.ReplyDelete
Sounds like a festive fall weekend. Good call to keep your purse in the car. I love your candy corn colored sweater, so perfect for fall. Hope your sweet mom is well. Happy October!ReplyDelete

I'm so glad you got to visit with your Mom! What a precious time!ReplyDelete
That sweater is fabulous! XReplyDelete
It's so special that you returned to Mass. Billie Jo. I'm still watching it on-line, but have visited my Priest and received Communion, which was so special to me. I love both your "spice" sweater and cardigan. The colors are so Fall looking. How wonderful that you enjoyed a pumpkin latte at a coffee shop with Madison. Spending time with our children and family is such a treat. And I'm glad you got to see your Mom too. Your broccoli cheese soup and bread sounds delicious. I used to go to Panera and have their broccoli and cheddar soup, and it was the best. I really miss it.ReplyDelete
Thank you for this delightful post. It made me smile. : )
