Time For Christmas Movies!

This is the image I sent out in our family group text.
And it was well-received!

We love Christmas movies. From Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and Frosty the Snowman to Elf and Christmas with the Kranks...From Santa Claus is Coming to Town and Jack Frost to Home Alone and Deck the Halls, we watch them all! When my kids were small, we cuddled on the couch after dinner and baths, snug and cozy in new Christmas jammies. My children are older now, but we still love to gather after dinner and watch our favorite Christmas movies together.

This year, I thought it would be fun to have each family member or each couple, if desired, choose a favorite movie and host a movie night, complete with snacks. Everyone is excited and we will kick it off Wednesday night with Flynn's choice, Home Alone! I can't give away her snack idea yet. She wants it to be a surprise!

How about you, my friends?
What are your favorite Christmas movies?
I would love to hear!

Have a cozy day!

  1. Flynn's Christmas movie choice is great. Home Alone is a classic, and I've seen it at least a dozen times haha. The quotes he says in the movie has me and my kids laughing all the way. This is a fun idea to have the family host a movie night with all the goodies, Billie Jo. Christmas movies are a wonderful part of the season.

  3. We were just talking about how we needed to make our Christmas movie schedule! Now I am even more motivated to do so! I can't wait to hear what Flynn's snack is. Pizza and milk? Tic Tacs? Mac and Cheese? Giant Ice Cream Sundaes? Lots of themeatic food options from the movie!

  4. Ahhhh...Christmas movies! I love them! Miracle on 34th Street, It's a Wonderful Life and Father of the Bride (which you introduced me to last year) are the most favorite ones, but Christmas Shoes is another one we love. It is sad but good all at the same time. I like the snack idea, too. Thank you for the great idea!
