On the first cold day of the season, I set up a hot cocoa station in the kitchen. It is simple...some plastic containers filled with cocoa, marshmallows, candy canes, and Hershey Kisses. I added some big mugs I found at Walmart and a few cute spoons. Now, anyone can help himself or herself to some yummy cocoa at any time. It is just a simple touch to make the season even more fun. : )
Thanks for the smiles. What a great idea! Blessings
ReplyDeleteSuch a good idea. We are big time hot chocolate fans here!
ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet idea. Wish I had room in my tiny kitchen for a coffee/hot cocoa station.
ReplyDeleteMan oh man! My kids would be at this station ALL. DAY. LONG. and then they'd be bouncing off the walls ;)
ReplyDeleteSure does look yummy!!
Billie Jo you have inspired me. Yes, yes, yes, on the 12th day of Christmas, I am going to start my own traditions. I may copy a few of your ideas to do for the grandchildren. I'm making my list now.
ReplyDeleteThis looks like a fun, delicious tradition. I love hot chocolate and we also enjoy Christmas music and I am sitting here listening to Christmas music on Pandora and reading blogs. Have a wonderful week enjoying this glorious season - celebrating the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ!
ReplyDeleteI love this idea...I always set one up on Christmas morning but there is no reason why we can't have one out all season long.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun mama you are!! I love the idea but I think I would eat all the Hershey kisses in a day! ;)
ReplyDeleteYour hot cocoa station is something I would love to recreate someday. So, so fun!
ReplyDeleteMay I visit you? :-)
