These are the sweet flannel sheets on the kids' beds right now. I purchased these from Plow and Hearth. They are sooooo soft. And I like that the pattern is such that they will be able to stay on the beds all winter long. I have purchased flannel sheets from Pottery Barn in the past as well. They are a bit pricey, but from experience, I have found that the extra cost is well worth it as they last so long. Having special sheets on at Christmas is something my kids all enjoy. They get so excited when they realize that I washed them and put them on! Just a special little touch that creates a memory for them during this magical time of year. : )
Those are SO cute!
ReplyDeleteDown in Texas, we don't use flannels that much, but when we do, it's usually for a spell in January.
I just learned something new last year regarding flannels. If you wash them in warm/ cold water and dry them on cooler temps, they will last longer. The cooler temps prevent shrinking and non-fitting. I use to just hit the "sheets" button on my washer and dryer. I still do, but then adjust the temps.
Your holiday sheets add to the fun of the season. Everything you do is focused around your family and that is one of the keys to happiness.
ReplyDeleteI hope to have money in the budget sometime for flannel sheets. They look so cozy!!
ReplyDeleteI love your Christmas sheets! I have red snowflake sheets for the boys' beds that I can't wait to put on; I might do that tonight. Thanks for the idea!
