It is never too early to gather your wrapping supplies together. I keep mine in a box in the storage area, and pull them out early in the month to take stock of what I need. I buy my paper from Current, and it is the best!!! I like to stock up during their sale in January, so I usually have more than enough come December. Also be sure to have plenty of bows, ribbon, bags, tags, and tape. Lots and lots of tape. : ) We like to wrap together as a family during a Sunday afternoon, and then separate each group of gifts into piles according to what goes to whom...what gets mailed and what gets delivered. It is a fun way to spend time together, as well as accomplish a big project. Afterward, we celebrate by getting pizza for dinner! : )
The packages are wrapped & ready to get sent out here. Great ideas you have. Blessings
ReplyDeleteI am so enjoying this series. I look forward to seeing what you will post about each day.
ReplyDeleteI love to wrap Christmas gifts! My mother was the best when it came to wrapping gifts. I believe it is a God given gift to be able to make a wrapped box look gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteYou wouldn't want to open what she had wrapped, just too beautiful.
I have enjoyed visiting you this month, Billy Jo.
Merry Christmas, Debbie
I am not talented in the gift wrapping dept., but my oldest daughter is very good and her gifts look so pretty. My middle daughter wraps her gifts in brown paper that she has saved all year from her grocery sacks! They each one have something written on them. Your idea of doing it altogether is very special.
ReplyDeleteOh, I LOVE wrapping gifts! I always pull out the wrapping supplies into the living room next to the cozy fire. I turn on some Christmas music and get the coffee brewing - oh what a lovely time :)
ReplyDeleteI like that you do the wrapping as a family. How special, my friend. Hugs to you!
Billie Jo, what fun to wrap together! I try to leave the wrapping for my husband to do. He is so neat with his corners. Mine always ends up messy.
ReplyDeleteI wish I had an area that can become a semi-permanant Santa's workshop. You know, where you can keep all the wrapping supplies in one spot for the season? My walk-in closet has been the work shop for years, but the "stuff" drives me nuts. I'm avoiding using that closet as a workshop this year.
