24 Things To Do Until Christmas Comes...Number 21

Have A Family Baking Day

Chocolate Chip, M&M, Peanut Blossom, Chocolate Crinkle, and Snickerdoodle. : )

Baking together at Christmastime...is there anything better? We reserve the last Saturday before Christmas as our baking day. Because I planned ahead and got all my supplies in early,...remember that?!...we are ready to go. I like to have each member of the family choose one type of cookie they would like, and we spend the day baking. And sampling. And baking. We play music and bake and eat and make memories. And that is good. : )

  7. We baked today! We only made one kind of cookie though because we're trying to keep things simple this year. Next year though we'll make more varieties!

  11. I have to say I have not done much baking down here by the beach...it's not the same as when it's cold outside and I don't know, it must be comforting or something to bake when it's cold outside! We are planning on baking some sugar cookies, between now and new years....but Oh, we did make 3 ingredient fudge and candy bar pie...do those count?

I love this idea of the countdown before Christmas, you are so fun Billie Jo!!
