Pour a cup, have a seat, and stay awhile with me!
What a fun idea! Is that a longstanding tradition in your family? I think it's an awesome thing to do, sort of like celebrating half birthdays.Blessings,Patti @ Embracing Home
Let me tell you, Billie Jo, we walked into Walmart the other day and there stood a Christmas tree...hubby about had a cow...I said, 'It's Christmas in July!" He was thoroughly confused, lol. I highly doubt the guys would like this idea, I loveeeeeeeee it though, smiles.Have a beautiful day friend and thank you for the smiles.
Now this post really did make me smile. I LOVED it, the perfect day.
You're the best! Wish we lived closer....I would have stolen one of those cookies.
Oh I'm so grateful for you inspiring this in me for our own celebration this year! A tradition I intend to keep!! (And I think my Annie will for many years to come too). ;) Love it so much!! Thanks for sharing my sweet Billie Jo - and your cookies look so pretty & deee-lish! xoxo
Billie Jo, I have to tell you that every time I saw a reference to Christmas in July or July 25th this year, I immediately thought of you! You are the most fabulous person I know who celebrates this extra fun holiday which prompted me to visit and see how it went. :) Lovely as always, just like you. Hugs and prayers as I continue to think of you today!
Love this idea! My town has a Christmas in July festival every year.
Dear Billie Jo ... you are one precious mama and I know how much you love making everything special for your family. This is so sweet. I have just begun putting together our Christmas plans. I have a few handmade gifts ready for Christmas, so our home is not decorated for Christmas, but it feels a bit like Christmas with a few little Christmas things being worked on. Blessings & Hugs ♥ Teri
Billie Jo, Oh how delightful! I feel cooler just looking at your pictures. ♥
I love that you do this! Such a fun day!
Once again, you have left me in amazement...you are an incredible mother, dear Billie Jo. Thank you for inspiring us and for being such a sweet example. Love and hugs!
Oh my gosh -- you all are too cute!! I'd probably leave it all out if I brought it out already! :) What fun!!
I love it!!! Christmas is my favorite time of year. What adorable mugs!
Looks absolutely wonderful! I was thinking about you as we were making cookies and celebrating too! What a fun tradition! I hated for it to end! So glad you had a Merry Christmas in July! And I love your Disney Christmas mugs!! ♥♥♥
Delightful! The Christmas shopping starts soon!Blessings,Jill
This is such a fun idea!! I love your creativity!
Dear Billie Jo,What a fun little tradition - Christmas in July! I did not realize this was a recurring even; I scrolled down to your archives to look over the past Julys. Yep, there they are, Christmas every July. I love your tradition and I certainly wood jump to do it too, if only my children were little still. I enjoyed your holiday post,♥Hope
Oops...yes, I wood - I mean, I WOULD!:) HOPE
I bet the kids loved it! The closest I allow myself to get as far as Christmas in July goes is cracking open the Christmas DVD's for my little one to watch when it is so bloody hot outside :) Oh! And I try to start my shopping in July (try to space the budget out).
Cookies too? Woah girl, you're awesome! I can barely do those once a year!
Billie Jo,Oh my how I felt like it was really December and really time to watch Rudolph (or play Rudolph Monopoly- that looks so fun!) and feel cozy inside... instead of sweltering hot in summer, haha. Thank you for sharing this wonder and fun that made it feel like winter for a moment ;) It looks like y'all had a most wonderful time and special moments together. And those cookies look more delicious than I can describe. Mmmm. What a wonderful mom you are to bring such joy to your kids and family!I'm even more ready for fall and winter after seeing all your lovely photos :)Blessings and hugs,Jazzmin
Thanks so much for saying hello!
