Halloween Pennant Dragonfly
Thank you all for your comments on Monday's post. I am happy to report that Steve has it all under control. The cleanup is progressing with fans and dehumidifiers running, and it looks like most everything is salvageable. I am taking an out-of-sight, out-of-mind approach, which seems to work beautifully.
Happy Wednesday!
Billie Jo
So pretty. I'm glad things are good. Yes that out of sight, out of mind approach usually works well for me.
ReplyDeleteDearest Billie Jo,
ReplyDeleteHappy to read your update here below the stunning Halloween Pennant Dragonfly images!

Billie Jo, It's so wonderful to have heroes in our lives. I miss my super hero. I hope your water issues are under control. I absolutely love dragonflies, but I do not want one to get on me. Why? I am not sure. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
ReplyDeleteGreat news! Oooh, this looks like one of those Lanternflies!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful dragonfly! Happy to hear it's all under control - I think your approach is PERFECT! lol I'm thinking Fall thoughts too my kindred spirit Friend. Especially since this Fall feels extra special. 😉💍
ReplyDeleteBeautiful dragonfly on the coast!!! I remember seeing a green dragonfly a week ago when I was putting my cart into cart parking area. It flew onto the Safeway cart that was right in front of it so I just stopped my cart a couple minutes then it flew away when I slowly put the cart in. It's been hot lately especially last Sat when I was at the Relay for Life through Tuesday. A bit cooler in the low 70s this week. Hope Steve is good. I haven't read many blogs recently. Hugs and prayers, Becky
ReplyDeleteOh how pretty...I've never seen one here with wings like that! And your approach is spot on, and also works well for me when someone tells me they're stopping by unexpectedly...if necessary, close doors to "those" rooms! (I don't like surprise visits...I just can't seem to channel my inner Donna Reed enough to keep everything spotless!) So glad your items are salvageable - I know that's a relief. I'm hoping everything dries out quickly so repairs can begin soon!
ReplyDeleteGlad the work is progressing well.
ReplyDeleteCute pendant. AND I like the way you think. 😉. xx
ReplyDeleteHooray for Steve!
ReplyDeleteGreat picture of the dragonfly. I'm not a fan of insects, but dragonflies are cool.
Great capture.
ReplyDeleteThat's a really pretty butterfly and I'm so glad that the cleanup process is going well.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your summer!
Blessings,
Betsy
