Weekend Plans...Or Lack Thereof

Yep. That says it all. We have zero plans for this weekend. Other than Mass, of course. But really...we have nowhere to be and nothing to do. I made myself a little list of things I would like to accomplish. We'll see how that goes!

The look back at this past week can be summed up in one word: Food! Seriously. Guess it is good to get it all in before Lent, right? Here...see what I mean. Lots of food pics with a random person or pet thrown in for good measure. : )

We started off last weekend with a trip to visit Steve's Mum.
She is doing wonderfully!
After our visit, we ate lunch at a favorite...Red Lobster...

And I ordered way too much food!
But took some home and was glad later that I did.

Sunday we relaxed and waited while a pot of sauce simmered all day long.
Steve and Peyton made meatballs, and all was right with the world.

Time out for a random picture of a super cute pup.
Mocha goes pretty much everywhere with me. : )

There was a Happy Mail Day in the middle of the week.
Special treats from a very dear blogger friend.
For no reason at all. : )

Blueberry Mary and my mom came for dinner one night.
We had so much fun playing games and visiting...

Mary brought the most delicious Vegatable Pizza.
It was so good.
I served it with this delicious soup I found on my sweet friend Row's blog.
Sooo good.

And Peyton made dessert.
Chocolate chip cheesecake.
And it was yummy.

Flynn rediscovered her love of Barbies this week!
Or should I say Cinderellas?!
I love having these scattered throughout my family room.
I am so thankful to still have a little to love.

Have a cozy weekend being you, my friends!
Thanks for visiting!

  5. Hi Billie Jo!

Sounds like my kind of week-end. I love Red Lobster, and just so you know, my mouth is watering... :0) Veggie pizza and potato soup, yummy! I will have to try her recipe, it looks so delicious. And, who would not love homemade meatballs?! Looks like you had a great week!

I am trying to decide what to make for a snowy, cold, windy day - another 4 inches of snow, does not make me very happy. I think I will make homemade pizza for dinner, it's always a hit!

Have a wonderful week-end, whatever you decide to do!

    Hugs,
    Barb

  6. Sounds like a wonderful week. I love seeing photos of Mocha. She's got to be one of the cutest little dogs I've ever seen. I've not been to Red Lobster in years. YUM! Your post has made me hungry. One of my readers sent me two big boxes of books last week. That was fun. I've already sorted and given some I don't need to friends. Candy and candles in the mail? Oh that would be truly awesome! Chocolate and candles thrill me. Oh, did I just say that aloud? No, just quietly in writing. I guess it's okay. ~grin~ Have a wonderful weekend. I enjoy every visit with you.

Love the Barbies, that you still have a little, and Steve's Mom is doing well, that Red Lobster was part of the visit, that your Mom glows when she's with Blueberry Mary, and that you have a free weekend!
