Just A Touch Of Pink And Red

February means it is time to put out some touches of red and pink around our house. I keep most of the winter decor up, and add a few Valentine touches here and there. Just enough to make it festive. And cozy.

Would you believe the kids talked me into leaving the tree up for February?
They love it so, especially at night.
So, we took down Christmas, and added hearts!

Happy Valentine's Day, my friends!

  4. I bet they didn't have to twist your arm too hard to keep the tree up! :)

  5. I love your Valentines touches. I adore your little pink Yankee Candle. We don't have a Yankee store very near where I live, so I have to order mine on line. Target used to sell them but our Target no longer carries them. And lastly I adore that you still have your tree up and decorated for Valentines! Hugs my friend. Juli

  6. I love the pink and red. My two favorite colors other than white. I see you've changed the photos of the children on your side bar. They've all grown so much. I had to change mine as well. Oh they grow so fast.

  8. I always love your cozy touches Billie Jo. I don't think I ever look at a yankee candle now and don't think of you. ;) And I love that you left up the tree. It looks beautiful that way! Blessings xoxo

  9. Your home looks so warm and cozy. Since Valentine's is my birthday I make sure I have lots of reds and pinks scattered through the house.
My boys are so not into reds and pinks and especially hearts and that right there makes it even more fun to decorate with! I need to make some heart shaped sugar cookies...maybe tomorrow.
    Enjoy your week, Billie Jo!

    Hugs & Blessings,
    Amy

  11. I love your Valentine tree! So festive and I'm sure brightens up the evenings. Your sweet banner caught my attention. As did the vintage valentine plate and glass. You even have a valentine apron. The kisses in the pink depression glass looks very pretty. I'd say it all looks charming! ♥

  13. Love your pink and red -- you have such a beautiful home and such fun decorating touches! Big question -- does that bowl of Hershey kisses stay full? That would be empty constantly at my house -- and afraid mostly by me! have a wonderful day!
