Janet's Ice Cream Dessert
Ingredients: 2 boxes ice cream sandwiches
1 small container Cool Whip, thawed
1 jar Hot Fudge Sauce
( Dove or Hershey's are our favorites)
Crushed Oreos
Directions: Unwrap ice cream sandwiches.
Place in 13x9 inch pan.
Cover with half of the Cool Whip.
Spread Hot Fudge Sauce over Cool Whip.
Top with another layer of sandwiches.
Spread rest of Cool Whip on top.
Sprinkle with crushed oreos.
Cover and place in freezer.
I only show one box of ice cream sandwiches, but you need two. Peyton was already starting when I remembered to take a picture!
And here it is! Enjoy!
Well oh my word. Anything with oreos, cool whip and chocolate sauce... delish!
ReplyDeleteTotal yum! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteOoooh, yum!
ReplyDeleteI think Christine from Endless Ways has a similar recipe, looks so good!!
ReplyDeleteWe've done this similarly too, minus the hot fudge and oreos...Christine makes it all the time too. The kids love it and it's so easy! It's good with chocolate chip ice cream sandwiches too!
ReplyDeleteWow...that looks and sounds delicious!!!!!!!!!! I'm gonna make this over the 4th of July!
ReplyDeleteOh, that's so funny! That ice cream dessert is Emma's favorite and she requests it every year for her birthday. We make it the exact same way except we use M&Ms instead of Oreos. May have to try the Oreos, though. That looks yummy, too. :)
ReplyDeleteOreos, chocolate and ice cream...yum! You have the best recipes...I think of you often when I make some of the yummy recipes I have gotten from you. :)
