Loving Where You Are

It is no secret that fall has my heart. I wait all year for those cooler mornings, colorful leaves blowing in the wind, pumpkin flavored everything, and cozy sweaters and socks. Right now, we are smack in the middle of summer. And honestly, I am totally embracing it. As I approach the big 5-0, I realize that although I have a favorite time of year, I also find joy, beauty, and life in each season of the year.

Have a great weekend, my friends.
We are super excited to welcome a super special friend and her family for a visit!
Some of you may know her from around here!

Enjoy this beautiful summer!

  10. I do love Fall but Spring and Summer are my favorites. As soon as July the fourth is over the stores start putting out back to school supplies. It always makes me a little sad knowing Summer is about to end.

  11. Your flowers are looking beautiful! Once the Fourth passes, mine begin to show their heat-weary selves.

  12. Summer hasn't quite reached Seattle yet. It's trying though, the sun peeks out from behind the clouds a little more each day! Your flowers are gorgeous, do you live near that lake?

  15. You know I'm an Autumn Sister of the Soul with you my dear Billie Jo! But I agree - I've been trying to embrace the moment more these days as well. With one of my kiddos going of to college soon....and with the past few years being such "rough" ones here where I didn't enjoy my summers at all - I've been completely embracing this one. Being in such a better place now I've been loving each day and especially this summer! Love your pics and peeks into your life - as always. Thanks for sharing in this little blogland space with me each week Friend. I love it! ❤️
