Hey there!
Hi! I'm Billie Jo, a wife to one and mother to four who loves all things home and family. During the day I homeschool, do laundry, and drink way excessive amounts of coffee. I would much rather read than exercise, and I am blessed to live the life I dreamed of.

I Know It's Only July, But...

I know. I know. There is much summer fun to be had!
However, I can't help but think about what is getting closer every single day.
So while I am enjoying the warm summer days out on the deck under the clear blue skies, I will be dreaming of orange leaves, cool breezes, pumpkin everything, and the cozy that is fall.

Have a cozy day, my friends!

  2. Fall is my favorite time of the year! We are having a rare "cold front" here in Alabama for July. 80s during the day and 60's at night and much lower humidity. What a treat!

  4. We have only had two really hot days here so I want to hold off for a while:)

  5. Too funny! I love August but come September 1 I am game for a massive cool down. But subconsciously I must be feeling the Fall vibes you're sending out since this morning I pulled out two (of what I call yours) chocolate chip pumpkin muffins for the kid's snack. That recipe freezes beautifully, and I take the second dozen and freeze them by twos for snacks and breakfasts.

  13. Me! Me! I'm ready for all things fall! Enjoying the time off from work and time with my kids, but other than that, I loathe summer and can't WAIT to bring up all the orange and black bins from the basement! :)

  19. Oh me me me! I have a new candle that my friend gave me that smells just like Autumn. I want to learn it so much, but I'm making myself wait. I'm enjoying seeing what our yard looks like during the different seasons. I think we have a lot of maple trees in the neighborhood. That will make a beautiful fall here.

It's so good to hear from you. May God bless you. Laura of Harvest Lane Cottage
