These are a few of the moments that made up our lives this past week.
I hope you had many of your own, filled with peace, love, excitement, calm, and delicious food. Whatever makes you feel happy.
Happy Weekend, dear friends.
See you Monday!
You look wonderful! The pictures tell such stories of love : ) have a blessed weekend! May I ask what brand of glasses you have? I’m needing progressives and need new frames, I have found it challenging to find ones I like. Yours are great!
ReplyDeleteHello! Thank you! I also have progressive lenses and these frames are great. They are light and do not pinch at all! I got them at my doctor's office. They are Calvin Klein. I hope you find some! : )
DeleteThank you so much! I’ve always meant to tell you that I attended the church where Madison was married while I was a student at the University of Pittsburgh. It is so beautiful!
DeleteGreat pictures of everyone and everything. Happy weekend to you too!
ReplyDeleteYour mom looks so good, Billie Jo, smiles. Thank you for sharing. Have a great Friday, my friend.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a successful week to me!
ReplyDeleteLovely allll...
ReplyDeleteSweet pics of your Mom.
So happy with your outcome! And be so very glad that you did not "suntan." Your lovely skin, will continue to be so, so, so much less lined, than people your age.
I know. My husband is a pharmacist and even, "back at the beginning of time," when he was in Pharmacy College, his instructors knew, that to suntan, was bad for the skin.
So at 83, I have very unlined skin. ~smile~ And seeing women my age, just points this up more. And it is nice!!!!! ~grin~ We many get old, but we still retain a wee bit of vanity.
Have as lovely a weekend, as your week...

Your view is lovely! And your scar is healing up nicely. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures!! You are blessed my friend! The food looks delicious!! Get some pure vitamin E oil if you can! It’ll help your skin heal and reduce any scaring that might be left on your face❤️Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteHey that is looking good. I think it will be really not noticeable soon. If it does show it will add character.
ReplyDeleteLove seeing all those happy smiles and what a beautiful view. Looks like you are healing right up and nothing like having another slice of that yummy chocolate cake to top off a wonderful week.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
Happy smiling faces such a joy and a delight to see the pleasure on your sweet Mums face. The cake looks delicious, yummy!

ReplyDeleteWhat did you major in in college? Education? What are your kids doing in college? Bet you are wonderful home school teacher. I continue to teach on Facebook with the little ones and a friend...my daughter home schooled her three girls here...I moved here two years ago...one is a senior at Purdue, one a sophomore at Franklin, and one a sophomore home school high school. the education paid off with so many rewards for college...the eldest has studied in Greece, Italy, U. K. a semester before being sent home for Covid...independent young women as I am sure your children are also. I love your blog. What are you reading? What are your hobbies?
ReplyDeleteHi Brenda! Thank you for visiting my little space here! Yes. I did study Education in college! I actually majored in English Literature and received certification in Early Childhood/Elementary Education. I taught 2nd grade years ago before we started our family. I enjoy homeschooling very much and cannot believe Flynn is starting 5th Grade! Your family sounds like they are very accomplished! I hope to travel to Italy someday. My three oldest children each opted out of continuing education after high school. Madison attended makeup artistry school in Denmark, and is a certified makeup artist. She recently opened her very own bridal boutique here and is so very happy. Peyton works with her, and is planning her wedding with Christopher for early next year. And Rhett just graduated and has joined Steve as well as MAdison's husband Nicolas in the family business. As for me? I love love love to read! I always have at least four or five books on my dresser. I am currently reading a book called Black Out by Alexandria Clarke. So far, I am enjoying it. Thank you for your kind words, and have a cozy day!
DeleteNice to see such happy lovely faces. Ooh, that chocolate cake just made my mouth water. Health and happiness to you and yours.

ReplyDeleteHow sweet to for the kids to visit with your Mom; I'm sure it filled her heart too.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you are healing. I love all your pics, but man, that CAKE!! WOW.
What a peaceful view to have your afternoon coffee on the porch, Billie Jo. That chocolate cake looks amazing. Chocolate is my favorite cake with white frosting. I always like to see your canisters in your kitchen with that delightful font. Oh, and that cheeseburger - Yummy! It looks like you are healing nicely, take care of yourself. Enjoy the last of these August days. Can you believe Autumn is close? : )

ReplyDeleteEven with what feels like crazy in the world - perfect life moments can still be the most simple, can't they? Blessings everywhere if one looks. And your face is healing beautifully!!
