You Might Be Surprised To Know That

~ I don't drink evening tea anymore. I used to, but now I prefer coffee. Maxwell House International French Vanilla Cafe. But I'm not changing my blog name, because I really like it.

~ I love to sing in the car. I can't sing. At all. Ask my family. But I love to sing in the car.

~ I am obsessed with old television shows. I would actually prefer to watch The Twilight Zone, The Incredible Hulk, The Brady Bunch, Gilligan's Island, The Munsters, The $25,000 Pyramid, Match Game75, and Quincy to anything on television today. Except for The Bachelor, of course.

~I order water when we go out to eat. But it has to be bottled water. And if we are at a bar, I go crazy and get cranberry juice with a slice of lime.

~I am very conservative. Except with music. My current favorites are Post Malone and Ariana Grande.

~I am turning 50 this year. I don't act like it. I am trying to remind myself that I am now my mother when I was in high school. And that I am not in high school anymore. And that I should probably act like it. Someday.

I am sure there are more. I'll save them for another day. I hope you come back to read them!

Happy Wednesday, my friends! Thanks for visiting!

One more.
If I could only eat one thing for the rest of my life?
Peyton's chocolate chip cookies.

  1. I think I should come by and pick you up for a car ride so we can cruise around town and sing Post Malone at the top of our lungs and then go back to your house for coffee and Peyton's chocolate chip cookies while we watch Match Game & The Brady Bunch! You in? : )

  2. I love the name of your blog, glad you aren't changing it :) We're the same age! I don't feel like I'm on the edge of 50 either. Think we might be very blessed in that way. The way you are about old TV shows describes the way I feel about my "old" (it's not that old right?) music from the 70's and 80's. Love to sing along with that stuff in the car. Hope you are having a fabulous week!

  8. Oh my yum! Seriously Peyton is amazing, you all are of course but if her baked goods taste half as good as they look she is so talented! I hope you're having a good day without the tea. (Though you probably still like tea yes, it's just not a daily occurrence any longer?) I love your blog name so I hope you don't ever change it.

  11. Those cookies look SO good!! I enjoyed this meme and your responses!! I am 67 now and am older than either of my parents when they died of cancer at 63 and 65. I think about that frequently. Somewhere along the way, I did grow up a bit, I think. Hugs!!

  16. You are just too adorable - and not "really" 50. Chronological age means nothing but a number. And I think I could eat those cookies forever too. Does Peyton deliver? ;)
