(Well not technically...but you know what I mean!)
We were still schooling...but we moved the fun outside.
We had Mexican after Mass Saturday evening.
And Fried Ice Cream is a thing!!
And...I matched my puppy because...everyone does that.
Our tiny garden gave us some beautiful fresh herbs to match with some store bought tomatoes, so
Peyton and I made some fresh pasta sauce...
And it was good.
Steve broke out his new grill for the first time.
Hamburgers and corn are staples this time of year.
As is this AMAZING Blueberry Pie.
Peyton made our favorite fruit pie this week.
And you must try it.
My awesome Blog friend Patty shared this recipe and you can find it right HERE!
I had a fun lunch with my sisters-in-law this week.
I took some fruit salad to share.
I start with Mandarin oranges...then add fresh strawberries, pineapple, mango, blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries.
And it is good.
This is what my Mocha does while I am gone.
We are loving our new home!
But the neighbors?
Not so much. : )
I remember this amazing man this weekend.
After four and a half years, I still find myself thinking about sending him some dinner, or calling him to remind him of a Pirate game. It is just for a split second. And then I remember.
Happy Father's Day in Heaven, Dad.
Lastly, Happy Father's Day to the most amazing man who has held my children's hands for over twenty years. We are blessed!
Have a wonderful weekend, my friends!
Thanks for visiting.
