Disappointing.
We promptly took off our jerseys and packed them away until next season.
In the meantime...
Go Vikings!!!!
January snow.
Just that.
We traveled to the city with Steve's brother and his wife...
We met their sweet daughter there for a delicious dinner at a beautiful restaurant...
And then we walked across the street to the beautiful theatre to see Dancing With the Stars Live!
This is the only picture I took during the show.
I wanted to enjoy it.
I wanted to watch my Flynn enjoy her first special event.
And she did!
It was a wonderful evening.
Even if we didn't have time for me to get the amazing looking chocolate mousse for dessert!!!
Right, Beth? 😉
Have a cozy weekend, my friends.
Thanks for visiting!
Your snow is pretty but looks soooooo cold! ❄️
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing ceiling 😍
So picturesque! Sounds like a lovely evening out as well. Happy weekend.
ReplyDeleteThe snow is soooo beautiful. And wow I really need to go to that theater sometime! Love you
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a good time and that Flynn really enjoyed herself. Your pictures are so pretty.
ReplyDeleteI love that scenic view as you drove to town. So pretty! Sounds like you all had a great time!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful experience and such a beautiful theatre. A very pretty Winter wonderland, have a lovely cosy weekend.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures.
ReplyDeleteWe also watched the Steelers game. My husband being a Browns fan of course loved that they lost, although we both really wanted to see the Patriots play the Steelers in the next round. My almost 18 year old brother is a huge Steelers fan and he texted me at the beginning of the game that Aaron Rodgers must be having fun sitting on his couch watching the game. (I am a Packers fan). So I texted him at the end that Big Ben could go visit Rodgers and they could watch the next game together. Needless to say I still haven't heard back from him. LOL
ReplyDeleteLove the snow photos! So pretty and serene!
Enjoy your weekend! We have basketball games for all 3 kids tomorrow and on Sunday we have to go to the 8AM mass since the 5th grade PSR class is participating as lectors, ushers, and alter servers. Rebecca is going to be serving for the very first time! Then we have PSR classes after, along with running around to do in the afternoon. Going to be a busy weekend for sure.
So beautiful!! I am so happy you got to have a fun night out and to take Flynn to see Dancing with the Stars Live! Wonderful!! Happy weekend to you!
ReplyDeleteOh, I love your photos, your drive looks like mine on Tues. and Thurs (heading to school)...smiles. I bet Miss Flynn was so excited, smiles. Have a beautiful weekend.
ReplyDeleteHave fun organizing and being cozy!!

ReplyDeleteAnd happy organizing. I'm doing the same. ;)
Steelers Fan? I'm from Ohio -- we cannot be blog friends any more lol. Of course we always say that one day Cleveland is going to get a PRO football team . . .
ReplyDeleteThe pic's are beautiful; I especially like the one with the church!
ReplyDeleteWow!!! The city covered in snow is gorgeous and what a fun night seeing Dancing with the Stars and eating at a fancy restaurant. Hope you are staying warm and are enjoying the weekend!
ReplyDeleteHi Billie Jo!
ReplyDeleteI love those...January photos...all that snow!! I'm not sure I could find enough snow to make a snowball at my house! The pictures are lovely, especially the one on the road - that beautiful little church at the bottom of the hill is lovely!
I'm so glad you got to go see, Dancing with the Stars!!! I can hardly wait until it's back on TV! What a fun way to spend the week-end!
Stay warm!
Hugs and Love,

What!! You got to see Dancing with the Stars!!! How fun! The snow scape is so beautiful. We hardly had any snow, it feels weird in January not to have snow but I'm kinda getting spring fever already.
ReplyDeleteStay warm and continued to be cozy!
Saimi
