Me & My Guy

Me & My Guy
Steve and I have been together for thirty three years and have been blissfully married for twenty nine of them. We met when I was babysitting for his brother. True story! Two weeks after our first date, I left for college. Four years and countless long-distance calls later, we were married. That was just the beginning of our story.
Our Firstborn - Madison Marie

Our Firstborn - Madison Marie
Madison is our oldest child. She is twenty-four and an absolutely beautiful soul. She puts her love of fashion, makeup, and people to use every day at her very own bridal boutique, Madison Marie Bridal! Madison also loves tea, reading, and traveling. She and her amazing husband Nicolas have traveled all over Europe, including spending time in his beautiful homeland of Denmark. Together, these two young people are working hard and making a beautiful life for themselves here while incorporating many of the Danish traditions he holds dear.
Our Second Born - Peyton Rose

Our Second Born - Peyton Rose
Peyton is the kindest, sweetest twenty-year-old you will ever meet. She loves to cook, bake, and can run this entire household while also working with Madison at the store. She excelled at school, in fact, she graduated a year early and is also a best friend to Flynn. Peyton recently met her person in Christopher when he was playing the violin at mass, and the two are literally a match made in Heaven. They recently became engaged, and are both so very happy.
Our Son - Rhett Stephen

Our Son - Rhett Stephen
Rhett, our only son, is eighteen and the sweetest soul ever. He always looks out for everyone and brings joy to everyone he meets. Rhett makes all of us laugh every single day! He loves music, movies, Reese Peanut Butter Cups, and The Houston Rockets. He recently graduated from high school and is excited to begin working with Steve in the family business. He also loves to bring me Nachos Bellegrande with pico de gallo and guacamole from Taco Bell.
Our Baby - Flynn Grace

Our Baby - Flynn Grace
Flynn is our blessing from God. She is eleven years old and the joy of all our lives. Flynn loves music, especially One Direction, video games, homeschool, playing outside, playing guitar, watching soccer, especially her favorite team Barcelona, archery, Legos, taking pictures of Legos, making memes, and white milk. She enjoys being home with her mom and loves nothing more than being with her whole family. Flynn will help anyone who asks, and is a pro video game player! She keeps up with all of us and reminds us to enjoy the things that keep us young. She was a gift to me at forty years of age, and I am thankful for her every single day.
Our Pups - Kirby & Mocha

Our Pups - Kirby & Mocha
Kirby is our twelve-year-old Lhasapoo. He is practically human and waits all day for Steve to come home. Peyton is his favorite human, and he loves Kraft cheese singles. The tiny, sweet pup is my Mocha. She is a five-year-old Yorkiepoo and is my literal shadow. She loves snuggling with me, looking for me, and sharing my last sip of coffee. Some say she barks too much. I'm not so sure that's true.

LOL, these are good! I'm with you on the lettuce! I forget about it most of the time. And my brain surely talks to me when I try to go to sleep! Thanks for the giggles this morning!
ReplyDeleteOh gosh. Every one. Except the lettuce. Because we started buying the bags of pre-shredded for tacos!
ReplyDeleteLOL, too funny. We too buy the shredded lettuce for tacos, yet still end up pitching half of it a week later ;-) And wait, your brain is supposed to shut off when you go to sleep? That's when mine just gets started.
ReplyDeleteEven tho we are all miles apart and some have not met face to face, we are still so much alike. Just as you posted today about the lettuce, overthinking things, going to bed and not able to shut off my mind.....lol Thanks for knowing I am not alone in those things.
ReplyDeleteI cannot believe how much I can relate to all of these. I laughed out loud at the lettuce one. So random but YES! That's me as well. And the onion in the dinner. Classic!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the fun, Billie Jo. You are the BEST!
Hahaha I love the lettuce one, too!
ReplyDeleteLol, love these! Thanks for the smile today :-)
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Jill

So cute, Billie Jo! I love the last one! ♥
ReplyDeleteOverthinking? Guilty! Wait, should I have written that? Maybe I should have phrased it differently.....
ReplyDeleteYes I'm really tired of food having calories as well!!
ReplyDeleteOh the onion!! How DO they do that?!
ReplyDeleteI could have posted every single one of those! Lettuce is always going bad- I am the queen of good intentions! And the characters- I DO miss them as if we're friends- a little pathetic, but honest! And the disease talk? Yep! All the time!
ReplyDeleteAll of them.. true. true. true. true. : )
ReplyDeleteThanks for the smiles tonight! They were much needed.... :)
ReplyDeleteHi Billie Jo~
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh...all of them! I always buy cilantro for tacos or other Mexican dishes...always throw most of it away!! And, I always have a horrible disease! Too funny!
Hugs and Love,
Barb
I am still laughing...
ReplyDeleteOne word - uhhhyeah!
ReplyDeleteLOL! Yup, I'm guilty of more than a few of these!
ReplyDeleteYou are my people! : )
Guilty on all accounts, especially #2!!! Hahaha
ReplyDeleteI love these! I can relate to most all of them. LOL Hope your week is going well. Hugs to you. Juli
ReplyDeletehaha.....yep, I used to fry up onions in my hamburger meat for spaghetti...and my son would pick every little piece out of the spaghetti! HAHA....kids! Don't you love those type of sayings? I do..
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness - I relate way to well with almost all of this! Lol HOpe you're having a wonderful week my Friend. And I hope that the food fairy took all of the calories out of your food, just like I imagine she does for me....and then flies away on her unicorn. Just sayin ;)
ReplyDeletexoxo

ReplyDeleteHahahaha! ALL so sadly true! Definitely with all this cold weather I've been baking more and making comfort foods I'm sure I'll regret in the spring!
